Take flight to the most amazing views in Lone Mountain Shores Community! Our Eagles Landing vacation Tennessee cabin rental has a Jacuzzi tub, upper deck and lower patio, game room with pool table and darts. Toss in seclusion, a loft (with powerful telescope)
which overlooks the lake, TVs in the living room and basement family room and you’ve got everything you need for a memorable vacation.
Since you’ve come this far, a short day trip to the Cumberland Gap National Historic Park is a must. Plan your vacation around America's favorite park and Norris Lake! Point your compass in any direction and GO! Watch wildlife, go sightseeing, backpacking, hiking and picnicking.
One of the best features of Eagles Landing is the fully stocked kitchen: We thought of everything; garbage disposal, trash compactor, microwave, coffee pot, iced tea maker, pots and pans, cooking utensils, and the dishwasher makes for quick clean up.
Sleeping arrangement: 2 queen beds, 2 twins and a queen sleeper sofa in the basement. 2.5 bath.
Eagles Landing sits at the highest point in the community. Even the drive to Eagles Landing is unique because you literally drive across the ridge to get to the home. Visit year around - on those chilly nights just fire up the electric fire place and cozy things up.
Bring your boat and dock it at the free boat slip at the community dock just a few miles away. Norris Lake has 750 miles of shoreline, and 50 miles of island shoreline giving a total of 800 miles of shoreline. Lots of secluded coves too.
If you can take your eyes off the phenomenal views, go for a hike right from the cabin. There is public land behind the home and no neighbors in sight. If you want to enjoy a day on the water, ask us about the numerous marinas surrounding Norris Lake that offer party boat, jet skis, pontoon boats, and fishing boat rentals. As you ride the beautiful clear lake water, think about the days of Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett. Since you plan and book directly with us, we can provide lots of local travel tips.
Nearby are golf courses, grocery store, horseback riding, hiking and biking trails. No matter how you spend your day, you land back on the highest point in the area. If you spent the day fishing you may have caught Bluegill, Crappie, Shellcracker, Largemouth or Smallmouth Bass, Walleye - all ideal for an evening fish fry at the cabin. Angler tip: The best time for Smallmouth Bass is April and May; January and February; fish live bait off the points.
