Perched at the point of a private mountain range, our Cherokee Breeze cabin will be the ideal place for experiencing every season in the Great Smoky Mountains. Spectacular views abound whether you sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch or enjoy the outdoor splendor from one of the many cabin windows. The pure country atmosphere will inspire you to make your favorite morning specialties in the fully appointed kitchen which includes dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and an array of pots and pans. In the evenings after a day of sightseeing, fishing or hiking in the Great Smoky National park, you will want to cozy up to the stone wood burning fireplace.
For your cabin time, our comfortably furnished living room includes a TV, VCR, Dish network and telephone. Dine in the kitchen, outside on a picnic table or on the screened-in back porch – these are great spots to break out a puzzle or board game to share with family or friends too.
We have tried to think of everything you might need to have a carefree and fun filled stay in our cabin. The washer and dryer are there if you need it, but we know you are on vacation and might not want to do chores! Just sayin'! Kick back and relax.
Carefully chosen antiques and handcrafted furnishings add to the charm and character of this log home. The upstairs master bedroom has a queen-size bed and the bath is equipped with a 6 ft. Jacuzzi tub for your relaxation. With all linens provided, a trundle bed and queen-size bed appoint the second bedroom. A wall of windows in the bright bedroom loft allow for scenic views right from your queen-size bed. BBQ on your back porch while listening to the breeze rustle in the trees.
Savor the night mountain air from the seclusion of the screened in back porch hot tub surrounded by fireflies in the summer or the aroma of autumn leaves in the fall. I’d be glad to share my local knowledge so you don’t miss anything when you call me directly (Linda). Memorable times await you.
Less than an hour away in Gatlinburg, visit local breweries, wineries and distilleries – where you might even get to sip some legalized moonshine. On Saturday mornings beginning mid-May through mid-September, the local Gatlinburg Farmer's Market is held at the Covered Bridge. The cabin is situated close to Cades Cove and the Great Smoky National Park where the family can take an auto tour, go horseback riding, or hike many of the charted trails. American history buffs will truly appreciate the many historic sites within the park as it is home to the best collection of log buildings in the eastern United States.
Whether you are hiking, bicycling or canoeing in the area you will encounter waterfalls, wildflowers and wild life that you can capture in photos and create memories for a lifetime. With over 100 species of trees in the area and a majority being deciduous, the profuse fall color is a magnet for nature lovers from all over the country. Quaint small towns dot the region.
