This picturesque log home makes great use of its location on high ground opposite the Smoky Mountains. The back of the house opens to a patio with a hot tub, and the gentle slope of the grassy back lawn leads to a landscaped open fire pit area and an outdoor grill. Black Bear View also offers a lower-level indoor recreation space with a pool table.
Black Bear View is located only three and a half miles from the parkway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, offering quick access to hundreds of attractions, entertainment venues, unique dining experiences and great shopping opportunities. Pigeon Forge is home to some of the nation’s most famous tourist destinations, such as Dollywood and the WonderWorks Indoor Amusement Park. Guests can spend a peaceful morning in the mountains, then venture into town for some outlet shopping, live theater, or a variety of historical experiences — like the Titanic Museum. While you’re there, don’t forget to stop for some award-winning Tennessee barbecue.
For the nature love, the Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge area is more than just a tourist attraction. These bustling cities are surrounded by some truly breathtaking wilderness features, including mountain trails, freshwater lakes and streams, underground caves and tunnel systems, sheer cliffs and beautiful waterfalls. Embark on an outdoor adventure with a day of hiking or biking, rock climbing, horseback riding or whitewater rafting. Visitors will love the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which is the perfect place to get lost in nature, have a picnic, or spend an afternoon fishing in this 816-square-mile wilderness preserve. Great Smokey Mountains National Park is home to an observation tower that offers the highest lookout point over the misty peaks.
