Must Be Dreamin’ is a luxury log home with an amazing view. On the side facing the mountains, floor-to-(vaulted)-ceiling glass gives that you could walk through the great room and right off the edge of a cliff.
The main living areas of this spacious home include the great room, — with two plush sofas and an enormous recliner, a gas fireplace and a large flat-screen television — a formal dining room table with seating for six, and a full kitchen with a breakfast bar and three stools, new stainless-steel appliances, ample counter space, cooking utensils and dishes. These shared spaces are configured in an open floor plan that encourages socializing and relaxation, and all are bathed in natural light streaming in the full-wall picture window.
A polished wooden staircase leads to an upper level loft that houses a full-size pool table, foosball, a card table, an old-fashioned arcade game and a second television with a VCR and DVD player. This cabin also includes laundry facilities with an iron and board.
Sleeping arrangements: Must Be Dreamin’ offers one private master suite with a queen-sized bed, a wall-mounted flat-screen with cable TV, and a connected full bath with a whirlpool tub and a walk-in shower. In the great room, side-by-side sofas pull out into two additional queen-sized beds. There is also a full bathroom in the shared living space. Bath towels and bed linens are provided.
A walk-out balcony connects to the cabin on the mountain-facing side, opening off of the game room loft, and hangs out over the tree-tops. The deck is decorated with old-fashioned rockers, as well as a large outdoor whirlpool — the perfect way to enjoy the view, the mountain breeze, and the sound of the birds in the trees.
Must Be Dreamin’ is part of the Black Bear Falls Log Home Community, which allows guests access to shared amenities such as a sauna and spa, an exercise room, a heated outdoor pool and a children’s splash area. Neighbors can congregate and bask in the sun on the expansive pool deck, while enjoying the quiet of the secluded facilities.
While this secluded mountain lodge is an excellent place to get away from the city lights and hibernate with family or friends, it is also conveniently located near all of the fun and excitement of downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee. So, if you need to get up and get out, shopping, amusement parks, museums, craftsmen, live entertainment and an endless variety of dining options awaits not more than five minutes away by car.
Some of the most highly rated attractions in the area include: taking a tour of Sugarlands Distilling Company or the Ole Smoky Distillery, among others; paying a visit to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies; riding on horseback through a mountainside winery; hiking through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park; browsing through Fowler’s Clay Works and other varied shops and galleries on Gatlinburg's Historic Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community Trail.
All ages will screaming their heads off on the 7D Dark Ride Adventure. Enjoying the view from the incomparable (and free) Gatlinburg Scenic Overlook; poke around historic sites such as St. Mary’s Catholic Church; try your hand at a high-stakes riddle at Room Escape Games; and of course, snooping through the collections at an assortment of bizarre museums curating everything from Hollywood Star cars to salt and pepper shakers is a blast.

Lovely cabin with an amazing view! Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The hot tub and pool table were favorites of our three daughters. Thanks for memories we will cherish forever (Reviewed on 23 Apr 2018)
The view you’re looking for! Our stay at Must Be Dreamin was wonderful. It had the exact view of the mountains that I’ve always wanted. The pictures were spot on but it’s even more beautiful in person! Our internet was out during our stay, but customer service was excellent and went above and beyond to accommodate us and even gave us compensation for it. I highly recommend this cabin and would absolutely stay here again in the future. (Reviewed on 09 Apr 2018)
Beautiful cabin and view! We celebrated our 30th Anniversary here. The view is amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub on the balcony overlooking the mountains. The office on location was friendly and helpful. The drive to the cabin is quite steep, so come prepared for the drive to the top. The location was perfect for visiting Pigeon Forge, the Smoky Mountain National Forest and Townsend. Lots of great local restaurants at the base of the mountain about 10 minutes down. Make sure to eat at Elvira's. Overall, we had a great time! (Reviewed on 09 Apr 2018)
Beautiful view of the mountains! Cabin was beautiful, neighborhood was quiet. A short drive to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. We enjoyed Cades Cove, the Wear’s Valley General store and Elvira’s Cafe! (Reviewed on 01 Apr 2018)
