Paul’s Paradis is a one-story log cabin surrounded by peaceful woodland. This slant-roofed, prairie style home features a spacious, paved driveway and single-car garage, with a covered veranda to the front and back of the house.
Guests can enjoy their coffee on the porch glider while listening to the sounds and calls of early morning in the mountains, then watch the sunset from the back-deck patio table. Best of all, you can watch the stars come out from the jetted warmth of the outdoor hot tub. Spectacular mountain views are not limited to the cabins exterior either — The dining table, for instance, is located in a sun room with glass on all sides, while the full kitchen and cozy great room also enjoy the trickle-in of natural light from high windows.
The home is finished mainly in natural wood, with heavy timber construction that leaves the rafters exposed, giving Paul’s Paradise a fun, treehouse-type feel. This home is equipped with multiple televisions with cable access, complimentary Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and other modern appliances, and a charcoal grill.
Sleeping arrangements: The two private bedrooms at Paul’s Paradise have wide windows and French doors that open to the cabin’s sunny, east-facing porch. Both bedrooms are furnished with a king-sized bed and a TV, with reading lamps on either side. Both bedrooms have connecting private baths, one of which includes a jetted tub.
Paul’s Paradise belongs to the Gatlinburg Chalet Village Community, a close-knit group of neighbors that share outdoor amenities. This means that guests to this cabin in the Smokies are offered complimentary access to three outdoor pool areas — including a kiddie splash zone and a spacious poolside patio sundeck. There are also open tennis courts, ping pong tables, foosball, and a variety of other little niceties.
Though visually secluded, Paul’s Paradise is surrounded by exciting tourist destinations, family entertainments and outdoor adventure opportunities within just a few miles of the front door.
The Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Resort is located five minutes away — take the aerial tramway to the peak and experience a wide variety of year-round outdoor activities, including downhill skiing, ice skating, a mountain roller coaster and a wildlife encounter. Guests to Paul’s Paradise also enjoy easy access to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where visitors can explore the nature trails and historical sites and ruins by foot, bike, horseback or motorized vehicle. The trails meander past waterfalls and fields of wild flowers, trout streams and picnic spots, up steep inclines and over scenic lookout points.
Within the town limits of Gatlinburg, the entertainments are practically endless, with more restaurants, shopping centers, live shows, museums and activities than you could experience in a full month of non-stop touristing. Some of the most popular Tennessee must-sees include Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, The Guinness World of Records Museum, and the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop — not to mention the many famous distilleries and local hot spots for unbeatable barbecue.

Beautiful and spacious — We had a GREAT time at Paul's Paradise. The cabin was beautifully decorated. The pool table and hot tub were nice extras! It would have been nice to have a washer and dryer available. We got to watch a mother bear and her 2 cubs playing from the front porch. We have 2 children that were quite happy with the Wi-Fi access! We will likely come again, maybe during the fall season. Reviewed May 2018
Very well kept and neat cabin. Beautiful layout of the cabin Really enjoyed relaxing in the evening. Great having breakfast on the porch. Great experience. Reviewed April 2018
Great Mountain Retreat — A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but yet be a short drive away from all of the action. The cabin is very clean and roomy. Check in and check out were a breeze. We did get to see a mother bear and her 2 cubs on the first morning and another bear later in the week. That was great fun, but it did keep us out of the hot tub after dark so that they couldn't sneak up on us! We had a lot of rain during the week. There was a really heavy down pour on Friday and the roof leaked over the dining area. We could also tell it was getting between the tin and the plywood as it was coming out on the siding between the front door and the master bedroom door. We put out a few pots and pans and dried everything up after the heavy rain was gone. The kitchen is stocked with cooking pots and pans but not at all with baking pans, so if you plan on baking, bring your own cake pans/cookie sheets. Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy your unique vacation hideaway, we had a lot of fun! Reviewed April 2018
