Gatlinburg Summit Views has a direct view across a rugged, Tennessee valley to Mount LeConte, one of the Appalachian Mountains’ tallest peaks. This luxury log home sits on an open, level lot with a few tall trees and open lines of sight to the scenic Tennessee wilderness that surrounds it.
On the main floor, Gatlinburg Summit Views features a large, open-floorplan living space with a full kitchen and breakfast bar with stools for three, a family-style dining room with seating for six and a cozy great room with a stone fireplace and a 60-inch wall-mounted flat-screen TV. A lofted upper level houses a bonus recreation space with a pool table and an arcade console with 60 game options.
This cabin is constructed entirely of warm-hued, natural wood with polished floors and vaulted ceilings. Large windows on the cliffs-facing side fill the rooms with natural light and offer breathtaking views from the main living space and from the upper level game room. This Lincoln-log-style mountain getaway is furnished in the mission style, with timeless furniture and unique decorating touches such as the wrought-iron chandelier that make this space both elegant and comfortable.
Sleeping arrangements: Gatlinburg Summit Views provides two private bedrooms, one on each floor of the house and each with same-level access to a full bathroom. On the main level, the bedroom offers a king-sized bed, while the lofted sleeping quarters have a queen-sized bed. Both rooms are further equipped with clothes storage, flat screen TVs and clean linens. In addition to the two bedrooms, there is a queen-sized pull-out sofa in the great room and another twin-sized sleeper in the game room.
With this mountain view cabin’s wraparound deck and outdoor amenities, guests will hardly want to spend time inside the walls. The deck provides clear mountain air and warm sunshine on all four sides — and a truly spectacular view on two sides, looking out at Mount LeConte. The deck is furnished with lounge chairs and a picnic table, as well as a charcoal grill and an outdoor hot tub.
This rental home also has off-street parking space for multiple vehicles, boats or trailers.
Though there is plenty to do and see at Gatlinburg Summit Views itself — enough to make you forget there’s a busy world out there at all — the cabin is also located in close range to some of Tennessee’s most famous attractions, both natural and man-made. Among the numerous restaurants and shops, there are also historical sites and museums, landscaped parks, live shows and thrill-seeking adventures.
Visitors to the Gatlinburg, TN area can ride horses through mountainside vineyards, take guided tours of underground caverns, or ride descend the rocky peaks at break-neck speeds on skis or rollercoasters built right in to the side of the cliffs — not to mention the wide range of available water sports. Spend a sunny afternoon casting a line on the side of a mountain trout stream or take the whole family on a hair-raising ride on white-water rafts.
Gatlinburg Summit Views is conveniently located near an entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where guests can enjoy nature trails, waterfalls, and historical cabin tours. Another must-see is the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, where regional artisans populate an eight-mile loops with more than 100 unique studios, galleries and shops.

Great Cabin! Could not have asked for a better mini vacation at an even better cabin. It was clean, spacious and very scenic. Would definitely recommend. Reviewed April 2018
Beautiful, clean and cozy! Lovely view and comfy home — and not far from attractions! We had a fun week here in December. It was well decorated, plenty of amenities and we loved the fireplace! Add a bottle of wine and you're in smoky heaven. Property group had an app for info and access info — very helpful and made checking out a breeze. Reviewed March 2018
