Inside, guests are greeted with lustrous wood-planked walls and rustic yet refined lodge furnishings like a stone-surround fireplace, 3 sofas, cable TV, huge downstairs game room with pool table and fireplace (there are 4 fireplaces in this Sevierville Lodge). WIFI too. With a group so large, it might be easier and more affordable to dine in. The camp chefs are going to love the fully equipped kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, cookware, tableware, plus there’s a charcoal grill so you can take the cooking experience outside on the deck and enjoy lush woodlands, with the majestic Smoky Mountains visible through the trees.
Sleeping arrangement: Each of the 7 bedrooms is a suite - with bathroom and combination shower/tub, TV. 6 bedrooms have a king bed and the 7th has a pair of bunk beds sleeping 4 (handy if you’re traveling with kids). 2 of the bedrooms have a fireplace and a jetted tub. Living area has a queen-size sofa.
A Sevierville lodge this big has plenty of rooms for privacy inside and out and romance is guaranteed. The large decks are great for stargazing before slipping back inside for a long soak in the jetted tub. This is where your Smoky Mountain fun begins! It’s not far from the attractions either - Big Bear Lodge II is only 10 minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway.
The 2 covered decks are furnished with rocking chairs, a roomy hot tub (where evenings are quite magical).
Sevierville is filled with attractions for all ages, shows and fun things to do. Are your ready to experience adventure in the Great Outdoors? Go hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains, hunting, fishing, hiking, ATVing, rafting, canoeing, horseback riding, and play a round of golf. After your full day of being outdoors, you might want to skip preparing dinner and visit one of Sevierville’s local restaurants for an authentic mountain-way (grown locally) prepared meal.
The Eastern Tennessee FUN stretches down the road to nearby Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg too: Museums featuring classic cars, go-kart tracks, mini-golf, Parrot Mountain and Gardens, RainForest Adventures Discovery Zoo, Ober Gatlinburg, Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway, Dollywood or Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. Don’t skip the opportunity to hop on to one of Cades Cove’s numerous hiking trails - find Abrams Creek and Abrams Falls! This trail of FUN brings your right to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park!
Did you know - Sevierville is famous for shopping thanks to the 120 high-end, name brand outlets. This home was very clean and spacious. There were multiple different ways to get to the property and it was only a short drive to Pigeon Forge. The outlet mall was just a quick 5 minute drive as well. The roads to this home were not narrow or steep and it isn’t very high up but has great views and the decks were nice. I would recommend this property and Jackson Mountain rentals!! A vacationer (Reviewed on 16 Apr 2018)
2nd time staying in the Big Bear Lodge and we had a great time with family and friends. The view from the great room is spectacular. There is plenty of parking for guests. A vacationer (Reviewed on 31 Mar 2018)
JMH was stellar again. We moved up the road from Papa Bear to Big Bear and it could not have been easier, more relaxing, or more beautiful. So thankful that JMH provides large homes that are pet friendly. Using the JMH app helped make check in and check out a breeze - I especially like that app had the wifi password, directions, useful info, and check out checklist handy for our whole party. Andrew C. It was very beautiful location. Mayra L. (Reviewed on 28 Aug 2016)
