Triple Mountain View is perched on a ridge overlooking wild woodlands and the Smoky Mountains, with stacked viewing decks furnished with rocking chairs, a porch swing, and even an outdoor hot tub.
Inside, the main floor of this remote mountain cabin comprises an open living space, complete with a stunning great room, a large formal dining room and a fully equipped, modern kitchen. Large windows on all sides let in the natural light and can be lifted to allow a cool mountain breeze to flow through the home. The warm wooden finishes, covering everything from floor to ceiling, coupled with shades lamps, plush leather sofas and a stone hearth, give this mountain retreat a cozy glow. The dining room — set for six — sits in a windowed alcove, providing a stunning view over meals, while the adjoining kitchen offers additional seating at a breakfast bar with tall stools. The kitchen greets visitors with stainless-steel appliances, ample counter space and all the needed crockery and utensils. This home is finished off with three full baths, making mornings a quick and easy task for large groups.
Sleeping arrangements: Three private bedrooms at Triple Mountain View offer comfortable accommodations for up to 10 guests. The master suite is located on the upper level, with a king-sized bed and high vaulted ceilings. The second bedroom, on the main floor, also features a king-sized bed, while the third bedroom, on the lower level, has a queen-sized bed. All of the bedrooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with a DVD player and an ensuite bath.
On Triple Mountain View’s finished bottom story, guests will find a spacious family recreation room with a vintage arcade games, a pool table, a flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player, and plenty of floor space for younger kids to run and play. The room can also serve as a fourth bedroom, with a convertible queen-sized sleeper sofa.
Triple Mountain View has much to offer in the way of at-home creature comforts, but the real allure of this vacation home lies in its prime location, squeezed between the natural and far-reaching beauty of the mountain range and the diverting kerfuffle of entertainments and attractions in Gatlinburg.
Part of Tennessee’s most popular touristing region, Gatlinburg is home to a huge variety of shops and restaurants, including famous barbecue, classic steakhouses and incredible seafood. This cabin is close to the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, where visitors can drive or walk the eight-mile loops that winds through dozens of unique galleries and studios, with original works ranging from glass blowing to chainsaw sculpture.
Also nearby are Dollywood (home to thrilling rides, memorabilia and a renowned dinner show), the Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area (housing a number of outdoor adventures from downhill skiing and a scenic bird’s-eye trolley to ziplining and a mountain coaster) and of course, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where visitors can hike past scenic waterfalls, fish the trout streams, tour historic cabins, or brave white-water rafting. Whatever your tastes in amusements, you can find anything you want and more in Gatlinburg, TN.

We enjoyed our stay at Triple Mtn View with our 3 oldest grandkids. (ages 7, 6 & 6) The cabin is beautiful and roomy. It is private yet very close to town and the Roaring Forks Nature trail comes out of the park very close to the cabin. We saw bear wandering around the neighborhood and right at the cabin. We saw Cardinals and other small birds. We heard owls and coyotes. The cabin was a bit dusty, but not dirty (dust & cobwebs in the corners) It is very well stocked with everything we needed to make and enjoy and the meals that we ate there. We enjoyed the deck with the kids (and in the mornings while they still slept). We all slept comfortably and soundly. We hope Triple Mountain View will be available for our future visits. Excellent cabin with a gorgeous view! We loved our stay at Triple Mountain View. The view what phenomenal! We certainly plan to come back. Reviewed March 2018
Beautiful cabin with breathtaking views. Fit our family comfortably. Gatlinburg in December was lovely. Our kids were so excited over the Christmas lights and decorations everywhere we went. Unfortunately, we had unexpected snowfall one night while we were out and unable to get back to the cabin due to the ice on the steep roads. We couldn’t believe that we were able to get back the following afternoon because the roads to our cabin had been salted to help melt the ice and snow. Not sure how they managed to salt the extremely steep hills and sharp turns safely, but grateful they did it on New Year’s Eve. We will definitely plan another trip here and next time bring chains for our tires. Reviewed March 2018
