We had a wonderful time at Grand Mountain Splash! The accommodations were perfect for our group. Plenty of space and very comfortable beds. We found the high end amenities were exactly what we were looking for and I have been vacationing in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area for over 40 years since I was a young child and I have stayed in many cabins of varying sizes and amenities. The older kids and younger kids loved the huge game room and we all enjoyed the theater room. It was amazing! The outdoor hot tub and pool were fun for everyone, as well. The cabin was very clean and that is always very important to us. The Master suite is spacious and private. It is a grand treat for parents wanting some time alone from the rest of the group. I found the location of this cabin to be excellent for getting in and out of town easily, so we did not have to sit in long lines of traffic. While the cabin is off a back road into town, and in a community of cabins, it is surrounded by trees which gives it a more private feel. We would recommend this cabin to anyone with a large group or large family. A vacationer (Reviewed on 28 Mar 2018)
There are so many things to love about Grand Mountain Splash! We stayed over with a total of 3 families: 5 adults and 13 kids with another large family coming to visit during the day! We had tons of space for all the kids and adults to spread out and be entertained endlessly. The first thing I want to highlight is the cabin’s unique naming and decor of each room. It was so adorable and so helpful! We could always tell people where we were in the massive cabin by the animal named rooms. Also, decor-wise, the cabin is very comfortable and up-to-date with “modern cabin style.” Next is all the activities that there are to do right on the property. We were all so busy together with cards at the large tables, talking in the living room in front of the fireplace, video games, pool, hiking, the amazing giant spa-pool, outside deck, theater room and ping pong. We even took walks down to the little corner store! We quickly became acquainted with the area and enjoyed hiking in Gatlinburg, shopping and eating in Pigeon Forge and visiting “the Island” and “the Apple Barn.” As city people we really enjoyed a few roadside stands and the arts and crafts area of Gatlinburg. The kitchen was amply stocked, the beds were comfortable and there was room for all our cars! Overall the house was inviting, cozy, made for a crowd and surrounded by tons to do in the area. I highly recommend if you want a large family (or group) vacation in the Sevierville area, this is the place to stay. A vacationer (Reviewed on 28 Mar 2018)
