Smoky Mountain Hideaway is a four-story, seven-bedroom luxury lodge perched on a wooded mountain lot and packed with high-end amenities. Working from the top floor down, the uppermost level is a lofted sleeping quarters with soft beds, quality linens, clothes storage, wall-mounted TVs and birds-eye views of the surrounding countryside.
On the main floor, an open floor plan leaves clear lines of sight between the great room, dining room and kitchen, providing a welcoming social space and the center of the home. A double-height wall of windows looks out into the wild blue yonder, filling the space with warm natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and everything you will need to prepare a home-cooked meal — even if that meal has to feed 20 hungry mouths! Two large dining room tables are capable of sitting all 20 guests in one go, with a breakfast bar that is perfect for serving it up buffet style. The great room is furnished with two plush sofas, a fireplace and a flat-screen TV.
The lower levels at Smoky Mountain Hideaway are a combination of sleeping quarters and recreation, with a game room featuring a pool table, two new arcades games and foosball. There is also a large media room, complete with an oversized projection screen and two sectional sofas. Along with the usual comforts and the bonus amenities, guests have access to free Wi-Fi and laundry facilities.
Sleeping arrangements: Seven private bedrooms rest within the walls of Smoky Mountain Hideaway: a master suite on the main floor, two bedrooms on the uppermost level, and the remaining four on the two lower levels. Six of the bedrooms are furnished with king-sized beds, and one is furnished with a queen. Three additional sofa sleepers are available in the shared spaces, bringing the total overnight capacity to 20 people.
Smoky Mountain Hideaway offers guests unlimited access to a truly magnificent view across the treetops to the rolling peaks, both from interior windows and from the home’s three large decks littered with old-fashioned wooden rocking chairs. Relax in the sun or shade with a good book or a glass of sweet tea and enjoy the cool mountain breeze and the song of the forest.
Guests are also welcome to soak their troubles away in the outdoor hot tub located on the property. This lavish rental is also located within the Hidden Springs Resort, which endows guests with the right to use community amenities such as the indoor heated pool and sun deck — open year-round.
Smoky Mountain Hideaway is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Dollywood, Splash Country, and Parrot Mountain and Gardens, among dozens of other top-rated entertainments. The Dollywood Theme Park is the biggest ticketed tourist attraction in the state, with large-scale thrill rides, traditional crafts and music of the region, and frequent concerts and events staged throughout the warmer seasons. Dollywood is also the site of the Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame. Dollywood’s sister waterpark — Dollywood Splash Country — covers 35 acres, with rides and swimming scenes that mimic the rivers of the Great Smoky Mountains.
Beyond Dollywood, Visitors to the area can enjoy an immersive historical experience at the Titanic Museum or play the scenic Gatlinburg Golf Course. Families with kids of all ages will love the available smorgasbord of mini-golf rounds, go-karts, arcades, restaurants and dinner shows. And if “back to nature” is more your speed, the cabin is close to an entrance for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
