Dancing Bear Retreat is a luxury mountain lodge with a traditional real-log frame, large living spaces and a spectacular view of the mountains. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated, making it ideal for large group gatherings or events such as weddings or family reunions.
The panoramic mountain vista is a perfect backdrop for pictures! Inside the lodge, guest accommodations are spread out over three floors with the main living areas congregated on the ground floor. The front door enters from the main-level porch, opening into a great room that includes a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar. The kitchen is connected to the sitting room via a decorative stone archway. On the other side, guests will find a cozy dining alcove with an expandable table and chairs for eight. Windows on two sides of the dining room table look out into and over the trees. In the sitting room, vaulted ceilings and multi-level picture windows give an impression of great space, while comfortable furniture and a traditional stone hearth make the space cozy and warm. These picture windows look out over rolling hills and the distant peaks.
Above the great room, a lofted floor features a recreation area with a pool table, a second full-sized refrigerator and a wet bar. Additional lounge furniture, a card table and a second TV are arranged on one end, while a pull-out sleeper sofa is situated to look down over the railing to the great room.
Sleeping accommodations: The cabin’s master suite is located on the main floor with a queen-sized bed, a flat-screen TV, a full bathroom with a glass shower stall and a private Jacuzzi tub with an exterior window. Theupstairs bedroom also includes a queen-sized bed and a small sitting area, with a full bathroom adjacent to the bedroom. This bath also includes a glass shower stall and a Jacuzzi tub. The lower level bedrooms are furnished with two twin-sized beds and two full size beds, making it ideal to entertain children ajacent to the TV and pool table room.
Outside, Dancing Bear Retreat offers a multi-level deck with an incredible view from every corner. One balcony connects from the great room and is outfitted with old-fashioned wooden rocking chairs — the perfect place to enjoy the mountain scenery with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. A lower-level deck is home to the large outdoor hot tub, while a side deck holds a table and chairs for dining al-fresco. Guests also have access to a full-sized gas grill.
