A Victorian Place is a stunning three-story mountain home on a private lot overlooking a steep cliff with mature trees shielding the house from view of the road. This two-bedroom vacation rental feels remote, with its lonely mountain view — however, it is easily accessible via paved roads and is conveniently located not far from the downtown strip at Gatlinburg. It even has a level, off-street parking area with room for up to three vehicles.
Notable exterior features at this cabin for rent in Gatlinburg include the upper-story bay window, the ground-level covered veranda, the peaked tower room roof, and other scripted touches that set this home apart from the many heavy timber homes in the area. Inside, the main level includes family living spaces such as the living room, dining room and kitchen.
The elegant main living room is furnished with two plush sofas, an armchair, a television and a wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked with modern appliances, utensils, pots and pans, and place settings. A kitchen island/breakfast bar provides both a clear workspace and a casual eating area. The formal dining room is located in the ground floor’s bay window, with a three-faceted view and plenty of natural light. The small glass table is set for four. The lower level is set up as a secondary recreation room with lounge seating, a pool table and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The lower level also houses the guest laundry facilities.
Sleeping arrangements: Both of A Victorian Place’s private bedrooms are located on the upper level of this luxury mountain retreat, and each is set up as a full master suite. The suites include a king-sized bed, a two-person jetted tub, a private bath and a TV with a DVD player.
To the back of the house, on the mountains-facing side, A Victorian Place has an excellent view of Mt. LeConte from an open-air deck. The deck is furnished with a table and chairs for outdoor dining and is also the home of the outdoor hot tub.
This upscale Smoky Mountain vacation home is an ideal getaway in all seasons, with access to a community pool in summer, gorgeous leaves in fall and snowy vistas in winter. Join us for Christmas, and you will find the house already decorated and ready to host your celebration.
It would be impossible to see everything that Gatlinburg, TN, has to offer in one trip — especially if you plan on spending any time enjoying the hot tub, the peace and quiet and the mountain view from the deck out back at A Victorian Place. However, if you do make the short trek into town, there are a few must-sees that you won’t want to miss.
Cabins in the mountains of Tennessee are ideally located to take advantage of the regional history and natural beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park — fish for trout, hike to the falls, or spend an afternoon exploring historical cabins on a guided tour. Another visitor favorite is Ober Gatlinburg, an amusement park set right into the peaked countryside around Gatlinburg. Here, guests can go downhill skiing, ride the mountain coaster, catch the view from the aerial tramway or engage in a wildlife experience.
There’s also Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, with its underwater wonders, and a number of other unique collections and museums. If you feel like venturing out in the other direction, the famed Dollywood is not far away in Pigeon Forge. While you’re here, don’t forget to indulge in some excellent grub. A few of our favorites include Calhoun’s, the Cherokee Grill, the Park Grill, the Smoky Mountain Brewery and the Pancake Pantry.

Beautiful view. Very nice place. Dale from Nolensville, April 08, 2018
Late check in was easily arranged. The home was clean. Excellent location with mountain views - remember this means a lot of curvy mountain roads to travel. The home next door was under construction, which I understand can't really be helped after the devastating fires. Still, the noise was disappointing. Fortunately, they didn't start before 0900. The instructions for the hot tub were unclear - the writing had worn off the buttons, so it was hard to change the temperature. That said, hot tub with mountain view was amazing. It was difficult to see the television from the couch in the lower level due to the angle. The windows facing the mountain didn't open and there weren't any screen doors. Chalet Village staff were friendly and professional. Kristyn from Ypsilanti, April 01, 2018
You did fantastic! We had reserved the Wander Lust chalet and when we got there one of our party had a fear of height and could not stay there. I contacted the office and Cathy of your staff help me locate a chalet that he could live with. We actually stayed in 1031 Wiley Oakley Drive and it was very comfortable. Cathy went out her way to resolve this situation and it was and is greatly appreciated. She did an outstanding professional job. David from Trussville, Jan. 28, 2018

It was a very nice chalet and very clean. Will stay there again. Daniel from Cincinnati, Nov. 11, 2017
The Great Smokies National Park is truly a national treasure. Were it not for those who made it possible this whole region might have been one massive Pigeon Forge. Chalet village is an extension of that park. Though commercial all the property owners clearly seek to preserve the natural beauty of this area. Thank you. We truly had a wonderful vacation. Edward from Falmouth, Sep. 29, 2017
Excellent service. Thanks for the phone notification concerning rental change due to damage to original rental. Thanks for info about local attractions and fishing licensing for our next trip! William from Charleston, June 03, 2017
We had a couple small issues when we checked in. We called the office and they had someone out very quick who addressed the issues and was very personable. Very nice place. It was clean, well appointed, and a great view. Bill from Lebanon, May 13, 2017
It was a wonderful stay and the chalet was excellent. It was very sad and heartbreaking to see all the destruction around it, but we are so glad that our favorite chalet survived. We are returning guest and will stay here again next year. Robert from Seymore, Feb. 14, 2017
Always a nice stay at the Chalet Village, thanks for the hospitality. Travis from Cookeville, Jan. 17, 2017
