The Buckberry is a custom-built, three-story cabin clinging to the mountainside in exciting Gatlinburg, TN. This two-bedroom home is comfortable and luxurious, with high ceilings and a multitude of windows that fill the cozy living spaces and natural light — not to mention the views.
Each of the three levels at The Buckberry cabin features its own balcony, with a porch swing and a hot tub on the largest upper deck. The main level features a small sitting room with a fireplace and a wall-mounted TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, and a dining room.
The lower level is a spacious recreation area with game tables — for pool and air hockey — a tall card table, a plush sofa and a second television. The upper level features a second large sitting room with a third television. The two bedrooms are located on the upper and lower floors.
Both of the private bedrooms at The Buckberry are furnished with a king-sized bed. Additional guests can be accommodated on pull-out sofas in the sitting areas.
The Buckberry features a number of design elements that take it above and beyond the usual standard for vacation homes. Its antique stained-glass windows and seven-foot-tall doors give it an aura of grandeur, while other simple luxuries, such as the granite counter tops, polished hardwood floors, king-sized beds and tiled showers keep guests coming back again and again.
The Buckberry is located in the quiet resort community of Chalet Village, and is one of the highest-elevated properties in the area. The cabin is located less than a mile from the lodge at Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area and Amusement Park, making it a favorite winter getaway for guests and families who like to adventure in the deep powder snow of the mountains — and even for those who just like to drink hot cocoa by the fireside.
The Buckberry is also just a few minutes’ drive from restaurants and attractions in downtown Gatlinburg, including world-famous distilleries, life-changing barbecue, unique shops and strange collections. Gatlinburg is home to historic treasures such as the Titanic Museum and oddities like the Guinness World of Records museum. While you’re here, take a trip into town at night to enjoy the lights and sights — especially from the top of the Space Needle.

We brought the whole family together to celebrate our parents 60th anniversary. The lodge was perfect big enough for us all to be together and still not on top of each other. The management was great!! — Sharon H., Oct. 2015
I have stayed in two different cabins. The Buckberry and the Queen of Gatlinburg. Both are the right size for the 9 of us that get together. I enjoy both, but prefer the Queen of Gatlinburg because it is so close to everything in Downtown you can walk!!!!! — Paul H., May 2014
I'm so ready to return. Trying to do a family gathering next July at this extraordinary place. — Twanda W., July 2017
A little out of the way, but can't beat privacy. Very clean and well-kept. — AJ Rose, June 2017
Great views, great area to vacation! Gatlinburg is 15 minutes away. — Harold H., Dec. 2015
Absolutely beautiful. Without a doubt!!!! — Vera W., July 2014
