The Laurie B is a contemporary, three-bedroom home, just 10 minutes from Gatlinburg. The cabin sits on a private lot with a backyard that borders the Great Smoky Mountains National Pak — the perfect setting for adventurers looking to make the most of eastern Tennessee’s hiking trails, natural features and scenery.
The Laurie B has been recently remodeled with a mountain theme, making it a comfortable home base and a unique vacation experience. This home is easy to navigate with all rooms on a single level. The great room is a cozy gathering place for daily activities, with an overstuffed sofa, loveseat and reclining chair gathered around a large flat-screen TV and an electric fireplace.
The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, with a connected dining area with a family-style table and four chairs. This home is also equipped with a clothes washer and dryer and high-speed wireless internet. Best of all, it’s pet-friendly (up to 10 pounds).
Sleeping arrangements: Two of the three private bedrooms at The Laurie B are furnished with queen-sized beds. The master bedroom includes a walk-through bathroom. The third bedroom has a set of bunk beds with a twin-sized mattress lofted over a full-sized bed. There is a second full bath that opens to the main living area.
The Laurie B boasts one of the best locations for a Gatlinburg cabin, with a private lot abutting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Guests can enjoy the quiet location, the hot tub and the quiet deck, as well as easy access to hiking, waterfalls, fishing and historical sites within the park boundaries. It’s also an easy drive to attractions in downtown Gatlinburg.
This three-bedroom family rental cabin is conveniently located within 10 minutes of Gatlinburg — an easy trip to pop into town for dinner, magic shows, live music, shopping or minigolf. Visitors to Gatlinburg can find parking for the day and use the trolley system to navigate the busy downtown area, with convenient dropoff points at many of the most popular touristing spots. Some vacationer favorites include Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World of Records Museum, the Titanic historical museum, and many other unique collections and sites.
Gatlinburg is also set in the center of some of Tennessee’s best outdoor adventure locals, including white water rafting, boating and fishing, excellent hiking trails and lookout points, local wineries and distilleries — some with horseback riding tours — and downhill skiing. The Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area with its Ski Mountain Coaster and Aerial Tramway is a must-see in all seasons while visiting and experiencing the region.
