The aptly named Something Special is a beautiful five-bedroom mountain home near downtown Gatlinburg offering comfortable accommodations for 12 guests with a mountain view. Something Special is 3,600 square feet, spread over three levels with five bedrooms and five baths — in addition to bonus recreation rooms — giving everyone the freedom to spread out and unpack for a long stay. The cabin entrance is on the top level, where guests will find a full modern kitchen, a large dining room, the central living area with sofas, TV and fireplace, as well as two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The first level down the mountain from the entry level is home to the recreation/game room, complete with a pool table, air hockey and ping pong. This level also houses three bedrooms. The lowest level at Something Special is equipped with a large projector screen and tiered theater seating — not to mention a DVD player, a wet bar, a second electric fireplace, and a full bath. Every level of this large-group cabin has access to an open-air deck with a mountain view.
Sleeping arrangements: The top level bedrooms are both furnished with queen-sized beds; one of these has a private full bath with a whirlpool tub. The second level’s three bedrooms are furnished with two queen-sized beds and one king. There is also a futon sofa on the lowest level.

This mountain home is located within the Cobbly Nob resort village, with access to community pools and tennis courts.
