Searching for one of the best views of the Great Smoky Mountains from a cabin? Mountain View Lodge has everything your big group wants in a Mountain cabin! Including 2 outdoor hot tubs! This three-story gem is ideal for a multi-family vacation, a school reunion, or a church retreat. With a 10 chair cinema room and a 110” screen, you and your friends can watch a late night movie.
Main floor living room is filled with stately leather couches, TV and a fireplace that will melt any crisp mountain breeze. Huge dining area ( three large tables) keeps the whole gang together. Cabin time here encourages multiple cooks in the kitchen - find 2 refrigerator/freezers, 2 ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 dishwashers, pots, pans, tableware, and generous counter space.
Sleeping arrangements: 3 bedrooms on the top floor have king-size beds and access to a balcony. 4th bedroom on the main floor has a king-size bed. Lower level has 4 bedrooms, 2 with queen-size beds and 2 with (kid friendly) queen-size bunk beds. 2 sofas fold out, 1 in the game room and one in the living room.
No matter which wood-planked room you’re in, they are all huge and emphasize comfort! 2 game rooms keep all ages entertained day or night. Downstairs game room has a full-size pool table, foosball table, a pub-style table for playing cards. The top floor’s game room has a choice of arcades, a TV and a wet bar too - if rain moves in, we know you’ll enjoy these rooms.
Start each day sipping your morning coffee on one of the covered decks and catch the morning mist rising over the mountains. Though it feels like your miles from nowhere, your serene lodge is only minutes from shops, restaurants, amusement parks, and other attractions in Gatlinburg. The closest attraction is less than a half-mile away - the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community (100 shops, galleries, and studios). Ride to the top of the Space Needle and tour the number one aquarium in the country. Experience mountain music and moonshine samples at Ole Smoky Moonshine after a zipline adventure at Climb Works.
Mountain adventures are less than fifteen minutes away! Since you book with local gurus, we can give your large group some Great Smoky Mountains National Park tips. If you’re lucky enough to visit during winter, you’re in for a treat: a tram that will carry you over the town to Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area. Cades Cove Loop is a scenic spring through fall mountain valley drive, or better yet see Cades Cove by Horseback. For a great waterfall and mountain view hike, try the Abrams Falls Trail. A 5 star local expert trail is Trillium Gap Trail to Mount LeConte.

We were very pleased with our stay. The home was very clean and spacious. Nearly every bedroom has its own private bath which is rare for a rental this size. All but one of the bedrooms has its own private door to the large wrap-around balconies. Double ovens, double refrigerators and double dishwashers was a huge plus for a large crowd. The setting is beautiful and we had a bear visit in front of our cabin two evenings in a row! The location is convenient to an Arts & Crafts shopping area without having to go to in the congested part of Gaitlinburg. Highly recommended.
This was a great 4-night stay in this very spacious home. There were multiple areas for the kids and adults to spread out and be entertained on each of the 3 levels of the house. The parking is ample, the view is beautiful and the home was clean. My only reason for leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is 1) the beds... The mattresses are not very comfortable and need to be replaced. And 2) the downstairs area noticeably smells of mildew. While it all looks clean, the smell hits you as soon as you descend the stairs to the lower level, so none of us slept downstairs past the first night. Overall, I would recommend this property to any large family or group traveling together. It's ideal to house a crowd.
This property was perfect! We have 17 people and everyone was comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked, bathrooms in every bedroom and plenty of table space for our large family. I would highly recommend this house! Close to everything!
