How many distant mountain peaks beyond the lush trees can you count from the cabin? Over a dozen! 1059 Points of View was completed in June 2018 - this property has many new amenities and a completely new driveway with excellent access. We could have called this Gatlinburg vacation rental “Any Couples Delight” too.

Inside bells & whistles will keep you comfortable and entertained. Wood floors, beamed ceilings, tongue-and-groove pine walls, 2 Blu Ray DVD players, Xbox One - the rustic charm with modern design will knock your socks off. Just the right amount of custom touches add a hint of luxury. Breakfast bar and nicely furnished kitchen is next to the dining table.

Sleeping arrangement: Master Suite is downstairs: 48" TV, king bed, fireplace, En-Suite bathroom with soaking tub and large tiled walk in shower. Deck access to the hot tub!

Unique Features

The wood burning fireplace and gas fireplace are a welcome sight for winter guests. You didn’t know? Gatlinburg is also a winter paradise with great holiday shopping, ski slopes & snow tubing at Ober Amusement Park and Ski Resort, ice skating. The partially covered deck is ideal for soaking in the summer sun or seeking shade. A soak in the outdoor hot tub is the perfect way to start or end the day! This is where the hammock is too. Yes! There are 2 spacious decks (with many sitting options) to relax, grill, and have that first cup of coffee on.

Things To Do

The peaceful atmosphere of the mountains is whispering to you. It’s time to escape the city hustle and experience Anakeesta, Gatlinburg’s newest family attraction offering a unique outdoor mountain experience: Ride to the summit of Anakeesta mountain on the Chondola’s quad chairlift or gondola. Stroll through a whimsical treehouse-themed village, cross 16 hanging bridges, fly on Gatlinburg’s fastest dual-racing zip lines.

Back in Gatlinburg is 8-mile driving loop of independent artisans called The Arts & Crafts Trail. Ever been face-to-face with sharks, sea turtles, penguins, or sword fish? Visit the Ripley Aquarium of the Smokies. Ripley’s Odditorium has authentic shrunken heads and a sculpture made from car parts - if you’re into that :)

A quick check of the weather and you’ll be off to your first of many adventures! Enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountain sunshine and a round of golf. Find every level of mountain mountain biking trails in Gatlinburg with CLIMBWorks (a great guided experience.) Great Smoky Mountains National Park has so many varied hiking opportunities that out-of-towners could easily spend several days in the park. Driving through the smokies is fun, but a slower paced bicycle ride is even better! Rent bicycles from the Cades Cove store and ride them on most park roads. It’s hard to top an actual hike though - hike to exciting waterfall destinations like Juney Whank, Toms Branch, Indian Creek and Laurel Falls. The best 360-degree panoramic views in the entire park are at the Chimney Tops trail (moderate-to-strenuous.)

Reviews

After an initial issue with our reserved cabin, you moved us to another cabin and the rest of our stay was wonderful. Debra From Mineral Ridge
We have been trying to find a "replacement" for Candoodle Nest since the fire. we just did. Enjoyed everything. Debbie From Glendale Heights
Great views, almost at the top of the mountain! Very first thing we saw after unloading the truck was a big old bear. This chalet is very nice and up to date. We will definitely be back! Steve & Denise F. From Atoka
We loved our cabin! This was our first time ever renting a cabin and it was a great experience! Our cabin was exceptionally nice and we loved staying there so much we actually took a day off of sightseeing and just hung out at the cabin! We also saw a bear right outside of our deck on our first day there which was really neat! We had a great time! Teresa From Roberts
The chalet was beautiful! It was so peaceful, the up dated driveway made a huge difference with being able to pull in from one direction and pull out the other (especially since there are 2 routes to reach the chalet). Everything was perfect. Shannon From Independence
My stay was wonderful. The cabin was beautiful! Didn't want to leave! Looking forward to the next time. Shauna From Cordele
We have stayed at Chalet village more times than I can count. Everything is always excellent. We will continue to stay with chalet Village on our trips to the Smokies. Thanks for everything! Jack From Louisville
