The Ski Mountain Retreat in beautiful Gatlinburg, TN, is a spacious chalet with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths that accommodates up to 10 people - all on one level. This home is decorated for the Christmas season. Everyone will want to gather in the open concept living/dining area in front of the stone floor-to-ceiling wood-burning fireplace and celebrate the holidays. Watch the New Year’s Day parade on the 50’ HD flat screen TV that is cable connected and has a blue-ray DVD player.
Stay cozy and warm inside this amenity-filled chalet and take in the Smoky Mountain views. Then just step outside to the huge indoor/outdoor room with its own wood-burning floor-to-ceiling fireplace, flat-screen TV, wet bar, rocker chairs, and a six-person hot tub. This room was made for family gatherings during any season!
The main level king suite has a stone wood-burning fireplace, TV, private balcony, and an ensuite bathroom with a custom tiled walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms have two queen beds, a TV, patio door to walkout, and share an adjoining bathroom with a walk-in-shower. Open up the patio doors to discover the sounds of a mountain creek and forested views. High-speed Internet, cable, DVD players, CD players, and access to the resort’s pool and tennis courts keep everyone happy and able to watch all your favorite TV shows and movies. Level, ample parking outside for four vehicles lets families vacationing together gather at this convenient location.
The Gatlinburg cabin’s spacious kitchen features granite counter tops with a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes, glass ware, silverware, cook ware, and cooking utensils so you can create all your favorite family meals. There is also a charcoal grill outside where you can don your chief’s hat and prepare your perfect steak or hamburger. The kitchen breakfast bar seats four with six more chairs at the main dining table. The chalet also has its own washer/dryer and iron/board.
Sleeping Arrangements: Bedroom 1 (main floor master with bath) - king bed; Bedroom 2 (main floor) - two queen beds, Bedroom 3 (main floor) - two queen beds.
The huge covered patio area with a floor-to-ceiling outdoor stone fireplace, wet bar, rockers, patio furniture, 6-person hot tub, and TV will be the space the whole family will want to gather during any season. Here you can take in all the sights and the sounds of this fabulous Smoky Mountain setting, yet enjoy the comfort of “indoor” amenities. We stayed in a home called, Ski Mountain Retreat, and we will have to say it was the very best experience we had ever stayed in Gatlinburg. It was 9 of us girls that go every year to shop till we drop, and drop we did, on the outside deck in the hot tub by the outdoor fireplace. The pictures on your web site, do not do this house justice. We loved the large den, dining room, kitchen and bar area combination. Plenty of room for everyone. The spacious bedrooms were large enough to accommodate us. with the spacious closet space. Loved the walk in tile showers with heated baths. Televisions in every room and even out over the outside fireplace area. We loved the spacious home, and the location to Gatlinburg was great and a plus. Plenty of level parking for all of us girls.
