Reviews

I had initially booked a house that was in great need of attention and in our opinion was not really a true 4-bedroom house. We stayed the first night there, but with the driveway being damaged and the view from the main deck was rubble from driveway and a dead tree laying down, amongst other things!! We drove down next morning to your office. Kevin the Manager and all the staff were amazing, offered us Bears Crossing, a much bigger house (for no extra cost) which we loved and will return again for a full week next August too. Ruth from Madison, Aug. 14, 2018
Very cozy house in the mountains! It's been well kept and updated. Great amenities with plenty of fresh linens and bath soap. Loved the pool table and hot tub. Lots of areas for family to gather (especially to watch the 4 bears that visited us!). The only areas of improvement would be fixing the drive for easier entry and exit. We would love to stay again! Ashley from Brownsburg, July 26, 2018
We enjoyed our time at the cabins. And would do it again. Leesong From Jackson, July 16, 2018
Great getaway and super easy to book this awesome cabin in the mountains! Jamie from Springville, May 30, 2018
Very nice family time. Would be nice for a/c to be turned on prior to guest arriving. Rose from Festus, May 20, 2018
Had a great time! A family of bears visited our cabin, which was really cool. Our cabin was for 8 people, we had 7. The owners should consider equipping the kitchen so the guests can actually cook for 8 people. 1 big pot and 5 or 6 very small pots is what you have to work with. A couple of 9 x 13 baking dishes would help a lot. The rice cooker under the counter doesn't work either. Otherwise the cabin worked well for us, plenty of room and spaces to spread out. Nancy from Remington, April 07, 2018
Absolutely amazing customer service! The chalet was recently remodeled but the mattresses and furnishings need to be replaced. We had a few issues and the maintenance person was fabulous at fixing them really quick. The main floor shower has no window covering so people can literally drive by and watch you shower. The carpet is extremely worn as well. We don’t blame chalet village management but feel the owners have misrepresented the description as painstakingly well taken care of. We are coming down in May to stay at chalet village again and can’t wait. Our family has over 40 years staying in chalet village and would absolutely recommend them. On a side note the drive way is difficult to maneuver and there are a lot of steps going down the side of the chalet to enter it. David from Cincinnati, March 31, 2018
The check-in was easy, even though we arrived after-hours, and the cabin couldn’t have been better. We will definitely be back! Carlos From Memphis, March 04, 2018
