Majestic Getaway is a beautiful, modern mountain home with a wraparound deck and a distant mountain view, all enclosed by tall trees on a private lot. A paved road leads up to this home, which includes a level area for parking up to two vehicles. The cabin is decorated in a fun, contemporary style with unique furniture pieces and bold pops of color.
The living room on the single main floor features two plush sofas that face each other for better socializing. A gas fireplace cozies the space, with a large flat-screen TV resting on the stone mantle. The open floorplan includes a full kitchen with clean work areas and new appliances, as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans, and place settings. The dining area features a rectangular table with chairs for six. These open living spaces are naturally lit on three sides by wide windows, and finished in a unique, custom-stained hardwood floor that gives the rooms a cozy, rustic look.
There is also a sunny morning room or reading nook with a great view and two comfortable armchairs. Majestic Getaway is relatively accessible, with only two steps to the front door and all living spaces centrally located on one level.
Sleeping arrangements: Majestic Getaway has two large suites with king-sized beds and attached bathrooms featuring custom-tiled walk-in showers, making this home ideal for a pair of couples looking to get away for a quiet weekend in the mountains.
Unique Features
Majestic Getaway occupies a beautiful, terraced lot with a landscaped walking path leading around the property and a level area carved into the hill for an outdoor swing. The large wraparound deck is furnished with a picnic table with a sun umbrella, a four-person hot tub and several rocking chairs.
Things To Do
This mountain chalet is located near the top of Ski Mountain Road and is just minutes away from both the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park and the Baden Clubhouse. At Ober Gatlinburg, guests can enjoy unique year-round and seasonal outdoor adventures, including downhill skiing, raft rides, a wildlife experience, a mountain coaster and an aerial tramway.
The Baden Clubhouse offers indoor pool access and outdoor tennis courts for guests of cabin rentals at Chalet Village. Majestic Getaway is also conveniently located to an entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where visitors will find lovely trails for hiking biking, horseback riding and snowshoeing, historic cabin sites, clear mountain steams full of trout, stunning mountain vistas and hidden waterfalls.
Further in toward the heart of the city, tourists to Gatlinburg will love the huge array of restaurants, attractions and shopping. Gatlinburg is home to a large outlet mall, as well as unique gift shops and a sprawling Arts & Crafts Community where local tradesmen show their works and wares in galleries, studios and boutiques that are open to the public. Don’t forget to take in some live music, and if you happen to be in the city past dark — the view of the skyline lit up at night is best from the top of the Gatlinburg Space Needle.

We did have a small problem with the gas fireplace and maintenance was there shortly after to fix the problem. We have been staying at Chalet Village properties since the late 90's. We especially like the recent property Majestic Getaway with it's amazing mountain view. We do miss Sage Mountain but will be up next year to stay in Majestic Getaway again. We had a visit two days in a row from a bear. It was a real treat. Thank- you so much for everything you do to make it a truly memorable stay time after time.
