2114 Smoky Mountain High was a great cabin, lots of room for our group. The view was wonderful! When we checked in on 7/12, we did find that two ceiling fans were not working. Maintenance came quickly, but only one fan could be repaired so a second visit was needed on Friday 7/13. The maintenance person was at our cabin for over two hours (the first person had to call for back-up). Since we were only staying for 3 nights, it was inconvenient to have someone working in the cabin twice. I understand that fans break down, but perhaps someone who preps the cabin for rental could check light bulbs, fans, etc. to avoid this situation in the future. The only other suggestion I would have is to clean out some of the kitchen cabinets. There's an odd collection of bowls, pots and pans but without a pantry there's no room for our food items. We were excited to see a bear within an hour of checking in! Your office staff is very pleasant and helpful. Maryellen. Jul 15, 2018

Everything was just as described on your website. The cabin accommodated all 15 of us and 2 dogs comfortably with private rooms and baths for all. The only thing that wasn't adequately described was the view. Words can't describe how beautiful and breathtaking it was. After hiking all day it was an unforgettable experience to come back to 2114 Smoky Mountain High and sit on our deck and view the mountains we had explored. Thanks for an amazing time. Bob. Chalet properties are so beautiful,clean and the perfect vacation. I would never consider a hotel again after staying in a chalet. I took my daughter to get away to relax, enjoy nature and just spend time together before she started basic training in the Army. We will definitely stay there again when she returns and gets leave time. We are both looking forward to hiking, waterfalls, nature and the most beautiful views. Renee Colosi
