Smoky Getaway at Chalet Village is a private, one-bedroom cabin settled between the trees on a mountain lot just outside of Gatlinburg, TN. This romantic eastern Tennessee getaway is ideal for couples or small families, with a king-sized master suite and a private outdoor hot tub.
Smoky Getaway has a cozy great room on the main floor consisting of a snug sitting area and TV lounge (complete with a stone-surround fireplace and flat screen), a dining table in a window nook with a private view, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishes and new appliances.
Smoky Getaway can accommodate up to six guests, with one king bedroom and two queen-sized sleeper sofas. There is also a rec room that serves as a secondary TV lounge and relaxation space, complete with a pool table, a second flat screen, and cozy reading chairs.
Smoky Getaway has a beautiful furnished wraparound deck, shaded and private beneath the trees. Enjoy your remote mountain lot and clear mountain air with Adirondack lounge chairs, a charcoal grill, and a hot tub.
During your stay, you’ll also have full access to Chalet Village resort amenities, including several club houses, seasonal outdoor pools, lighted tennis courts, children’s play areas, table games and indoor fitness equipment.
Smoky Getaway is conveniently located just a few minutes scenic drive from the excitement of downtown Gatlinburg. Browse the shops by day or enjoy the lights and music at night in one of eastern Tennessee’s most popular vacation hubs.
Take in the aerial view from the top of the picturesque Space Needle, or plan a few hours spare time to browse the unique historical sites and museums of Gatlinburg. There is a world-famous aquarium, as well as some one-of-a-kind collections.
This cabin is close to some exciting and family-friendly outdoor adventures, from skiing, ice skating and tubing at Ober Gatlinburg to hiking or horseback riding at Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You can even see it all from above with zipline tours at Anakeesta.
One of the lesser-known attractions that’s worth making time for is The Village Shops. Browse 27 unique venders in a European-inspired town square, and come away with lovely souvenirs, handmade goods, fresh donuts, or spices and tea from around the world.
If you’re just here for the food (and we wouldn’t blame you if you were), Gatlinburg is home to dozens of excellent locally owned restaurants. We recommend the Log Cabin Pancake House for a brunch buffet worth writing home about.
