Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains have a lot to offer for visitors. Depending on how long you are going to be there, you have the opportunity to send the kids to a Wilderness Wildlife Week to learn more about the flora and fauna in the area. Or, hike one of the many, many pristine trails that the Smoky Mountains are famous for and learn about the flora and fauna yourself.
If you are more of a city person, however, there should still be plenty for you to enjoy. Enjoy the eight mile loop that is home to Gatlinburg’s arts and crafts community. Experiences along this loop range from the edible or drink-able kind to fun souvenirs you can take home to remember your stay here. Or, head to downtown Gatlinburg for something to eat. Memorable restaurants include the Smoky Mountain Trout House, for a taste of local cuisine. Or, head to the Pancake Pantry for some creative pancake orders; see if you can find anything you will want to reproduce at home!
With other activities and events throughout the year including a ski resort, water park, and Dolly Parton parades, we are sure that you will have a great experience during your visit with us!

This was a great place to stay! Everything was clean and everyone was very nice that we spoke with. We had a gorgeous view of the creek running back behind the building we were in. Plus very close to downtown which made it easy to walk and save money on parking. Dana K
Our cottage also had a gas fireplace, we hoped we’d get a wood one, but again we were good it was nice to look at. There were plenty of windows to get natural light and fresh air. We got to see a bear the last night we were there, he didn’t bother us and we sure wasn’t going to bother him lol. I really don’t have much negative about our stay at Carrs. Lena L
Absolutely love this place! Will definitely be coming back, even considering doing a yearly trip here! Beautiful location near a creek, within walking distance of Gatlinburg. We walked to everything this way so we didn't have to pay 20 to park for a few hours. Felicia Aytes
Clean, decent sized room. Table and chairs outside the door so you could sit and listen to the roaring stream. Fire pits and grills outside along the water. Easy to walk into town and avoid the traffic which there was a LOT of everyday. We were towing a trailer and they had a separate area for us to park it. We will stay again if we find ourselves in Gatlinburg in the future. JoAnn S
We loved staying 6 nights at Carr's Cottages. Very reasonably priced and great personal service and attentive here. Highly Recommended ~~ Traveled from Texas & stayed here July 17 to July 23, 2021. Cheers
This was our first time at Carr's and it was a Beautiful place. Our accommodations were roomy and clean. We rented the 3 bedroom cottage house on the other end of the property. It was away from the office, pool, and other facilities. It was very peaceful near the stream and hearing the stream at night was so awesome. The house was huge. Tim R
