Cabin 407 at Carr’s Northside Cottages is an excellent place to get away from it all, whether you are here for an extended summer experience or a stolen weekend in the mountains with a loved one. This cottage is filled with beautiful windows, light decor, and, hopefully, all of the amenities needed to make your stay a great one.
In the kitchen area of this resort, you will find that you have access to the tools necessary to prepare a feast - or heat up a microwave dinner. The cabin includes a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, kitchen table and chairs, and, of course, an oven and stove. There’s also a coffee maker, perfect for making a cup in the morning and drinking it slowly while standing out on the stream side porch and watching the day wake up. Other amenities in this cabin include access to a TV, WiFi, and guest laundry in the resort. If you are here for the Smokies, you don’t need to worry about getting rid of modern day conveniences like the Internet and clean clothes!
This vacation home sleeps four people. There are two queen beds and a bath.
One great perk to staying at this cabin is its scenic location at the resort. With lots of greenery, a covered bridge, picnic tables - allowing you to eat dinner outdoors - and occasional ducks wading through the stream, you will certainly feel at peace and ready for a great and relaxing vacation when you head over to Cabin 407 for the first time.
There is so much to do around Gatlinburg and in the Smoky Mountains that you will have to come and see it all for yourself! Whether you are a nature lover or not, there should be plenty of activities here for you to enjoy.
Great Smoky Mountains National Park will, for most, need no introduction. Go fishing, biking, or hiking along their many trails. You can journey to waterfalls, wooded glens, and, of course, breathtaking overlooks with tumbling mountains that linger behind a bluish haze, showing you where the Great Smoky Mountains got their name. Horse lovers may be excited to learn that they can also go horseback riding along some of the beautiful trails, through Sugarland, Cades Cove, or Smoky Mountain horse stables.
Visitors who are less inclined to get their feet dirty (or wet, or muddy) can always check out Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas for their many attractions. There is the Dollywood Amusement Park, perfect for adrenaline junkies. And, of course, the other Dolly - Dolly Parton - is originally from Tennessee. There are sometimes homecoming parades in her honor. Some other great attractions in the area include the opportunity to attend Splash Country Water Park or head to Ripley’s Aquarium. There is also a thriving arts and crafts community in Gatlinburg, all located in the same area. Drive for about eight miles down a road that is lined with stores of excellent craftsmanship. And there are a lot of great eateries along the way where you can stop to grab a bite.

This was a great place to stay! Everything was clean and everyone was very nice that we spoke with. We had a gorgeous view of the creek running back behind the building we were in. Plus very close to downtown which made it easy to walk and save money on parking. Dana K
Our cottage also had a gas fireplace, we hoped we’d get a wood one, but again we were good it was nice to look at. There were plenty of windows to get natural light and fresh air. We got to see a bear the last night we were there, he didn’t bother us and we sure wasn’t going to bother him lol. I really don’t have much negative about our stay at Carrs. Lena L
Absolutely love this place! Will definitely be coming back, even considering doing a yearly trip here! Beautiful location near a creek, within walking distance of Gatlinburg. We walked to everything this way so we didn't have to pay 20 to park for a few hours. Felicia Aytes
Clean, decent sized room. Table and chairs outside the door so you could sit and listen to the roaring stream. Fire pits and grills outside along the water. Easy to walk into town and avoid the traffic which there was a LOT of everyday. We were towing a trailer and they had a separate area for us to park it. We will stay again if we find ourselves in Gatlinburg in the future. JoAnn S
We loved staying 6 nights at Carr's Cottages. Very reasonably priced and great personal service and attentive here. Highly Recommended ~~ Traveled from Texas & stayed here July 17 to July 23, 2021. Cheers
This was our first time at Carr's and it was a Beautiful place. Our accommodations were roomy and clean. We rented the 3 bedroom cottage house on the other end of the property. It was away from the office, pool, and other facilities. It was very peaceful near the stream and hearing the stream at night was so awesome. The house was huge. Tim R
