Visitors to Cabin 410 at Carr’s Northside Cottages will find a beautiful community of vacation homes with a plethora of amenities. Visitors may choose to spend some time walking around the shady area and enjoying the setting. Or, those with small children may want to check out the playground. There is also a charcoal grill where you can prepare a meal outdoors and eat it either in your cabin or at one of the picnic tables outside.

When you head inside to the cabin, there are also a lot of amenities inside that will make you want to stick around. In the kitchen, visitors have access to many of the same supplies they would find at home; there is a fridge, freezer, microwave, and coffee pot. There is also a small dining area where visitors can eat the meals they have prepared. In addition to this, visitors have a living room area of a home that includes a couch, large, plushy chair, and flat screen TV. There is also free WiFi in this vacation home.

For sleeping arrangements, the cabin has two queen-sized beds and one bathroom.

Unique Features

One great feature of this cabin is its set of watery amenities that come with the resort. Visitors have access to a swimming pool, wading pool, and hot tub, along with a stream that runs by the cabin. The cabin area has an overall cool and refreshing atmosphere, and, depending on the time of year, you may want to spend a day just sunbathing and splashing around.

Things To Do

The Smoky Mountains are home to a variety of wildlife such as white tailed deer, raccoons, and salamanders. Take a camera and a picnic lunch out for a day hike to a waterfall, and experience all of the wonders of the Appalachian woods. Or go for a strenuous hike down parts of the Appalachian trail and head to spectacular overviews. This area of Tennessee is worth visiting for the magnificent scenery alone.

For visitors interested in seeing Gatlinburg, however, there are many interesting activities in which they can participate, regardless of their age or interests. Adrenaline junkies may want to ride a roller coaster at Dollywood, but that’s not all that Dollywood Parks have to offer; there are also gardens, shows, water parks, and more. Other forms of entertainment include Ripley’s Aquarium, which includes a variety of marine life including turtles and clown fish, reminiscent of Finding Nemo. For quirkier interests, there is also the Gatlinburg Pinball Museum and a haunted house.

There are many great restaurants located throughout the area. The Peddler is a good option for steak. Or, try the Smoky Mountain Trout House for fish lovers. Good places for drinks include the Smoky Mountain Brewery and the Shamrock Pub.

Reviews

We had a great experience at Carr's and would probably stay again if we are ever in the area. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly. The only reason I did not give 5/5 is that the room was a bit dated and could use an update, but by no means was the room dingy. We really liked the back patio overlooking a stream, was a great place to unwind after a busy day of hiking. Tom D
We had a wonderful time at Carrs. The stream-side porch was such a delight. We felt like we were living in the midst of Nature. Very quiet place. Everything was spic and span, and the place is very close to the National Park Entrance. What more could we ask for? We forgot an item in the room and they called right away, so we were able to go back and retrieve it. Thank you. S. K.
This was a great place to stay! Everything was clean and everyone was very nice that we spoke with. We had a gorgeous view of the creek running back behind the building we were in. Plus very close to downtown which made it easy to walk and save money on parking. Dana K
Our cottage also had a gas fireplace, we hoped we’d get a wood one, but again we were good it was nice to look at. There were plenty of windows to get natural light and fresh air. We got to see a bear the last night we were there, he didn’t bother us and we sure wasn’t going to bother him lol. I really don’t have much negative about our stay at Carrs. Lena L
Absolutely love this place! Will definitely be coming back, even considering doing a yearly trip here! Beautiful location near a creek, within walking distance of Gatlinburg. We walked to everything this way so we didn't have to pay 20 to park for a few hours. Felicia Aytes
Clean, decent sized room. Table and chairs outside the door so you could sit and listen to the roaring stream. Fire pits and grills outside along the water. Easy to walk into town and avoid the traffic which there was a LOT of everyday. We were towing a trailer and they had a separate area for us to park it. We will stay again if we find ourselves in Gatlinburg in the future. JoAnn S
We loved staying 6 nights at Carr's Cottages. Very reasonably priced and great personal service and attentive here. Highly Recommended ~~ Traveled from Texas & stayed here July 17 to July 23, 2021. Cheers
This was our first time at Carr's and it was a Beautiful place. Our accommodations were roomy and clean. We rented the 3 bedroom cottage house on the other end of the property. It was away from the office, pool, and other facilities. It was very peaceful near the stream and hearing the stream at night was so awesome. The house was huge. Tim R
