This bright, luxurious cottage is the perfect location for a couple’s vacation in the mountains. With light, wood-paneled wall accents and decor, this cabin embodies the sense of freshness that we hope you experience during your stay here, whether it is for a special occasion, like an anniversary or honeymoon, or just a weekend away from the grind of everyday life.
Outside, you can sit on the porch while watching and listening to the cheerful noises of the stream next to you. Once you walk in, you will find a kitchen complete with an oven and stove, refrigerator and freezer, and coffee pot. In the living and sleeping area, two large, plushy chairs face a flat screen TV and stone gas fireplace. Head in here and curl up with some popcorn or a glass of wine after a long day spent exploring and enjoying nature.
Also beside the chairs is the large, king-sized bed, beside the dresser space and two large bedside tables, each with their own lamp; beside the bed is an enormous jacuzzi. The cottage also contains a bathroom that is complete with a shower.
The jacuzzi in this cabin makes it a desirable and unique place to visit. Only feet away from the bed, you won’t have to go far if you want to soak in a steamy tub just before turning in for the night. The jacuzzi adds to the feeling of luxury in this cabin, making the experience of staying here truly special.
As you are probably already aware, there is so much to do around Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains, especially for the nature or adventure enthusiast. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park contains parts of the Appalachian trail; with endless miles of Appalachian beauty, this is a desirable visit for a hike any time of the year and can be as easy or strenuous a visit as you want to make it.
If you choose to come in the winter months, we recommend going to the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort for some time out on the slopes. There are also ice skating and other activities available at the resort. Or, if you are staying with us during the summer months, you may be able to experience Gatlinburg’s 4th of July celebrations: With a parade, fireworks, and various festivals, this is the place to be on Independence Day.
In addition to these, other activities abound: Adrenaline junkies may seek out the Dollywood Amusement Park, and country music enthusiasts may want to go to one of the parades featuring all things Dolly Parton. There is also an aquarium, craft shows, water park, and more! We are glad you are choosing Gatlinburg to spend your vacation and know you will find some things to do that are right up your alley.

We had a great experience at Carr's and would probably stay again if we are ever in the area. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly. The only reason I did not give 5/5 is that the room was a bit dated and could use an update, but by no means was the room dingy. We really liked the back patio overlooking a stream, was a great place to unwind after a busy day of hiking. Tom D
We had a wonderful time at Carrs. The stream-side porch was such a delight. We felt like we were living in the midst of Nature. Very quiet place. Everything was spic and span, and the place is very close to the National Park Entrance. What more could we ask for? We forgot an item in the room and they called right away, so we were able to go back and retrieve it. Thank you. S. K.
This was a great place to stay! Everything was clean and everyone was very nice that we spoke with. We had a gorgeous view of the creek running back behind the building we were in. Plus very close to downtown which made it easy to walk and save money on parking. Dana K
Our cottage also had a gas fireplace, we hoped we’d get a wood one, but again we were good it was nice to look at. There were plenty of windows to get natural light and fresh air. We got to see a bear the last night we were there, he didn’t bother us and we sure wasn’t going to bother him lol. I really don’t have much negative about our stay at Carrs. Lena L
Absolutely love this place! Will definitely be coming back, even considering doing a yearly trip here! Beautiful location near a creek, within walking distance of Gatlinburg. We walked to everything this way so we didn't have to pay 20 to park for a few hours. Felicia Aytes
Clean, decent sized room. Table and chairs outside the door so you could sit and listen to the roaring stream. Fire pits and grills outside along the water. Easy to walk into town and avoid the traffic which there was a LOT of everyday. We were towing a trailer and they had a separate area for us to park it. We will stay again if we find ourselves in Gatlinburg in the future. JoAnn S
