Irish Blessing is the perfect mountain cabin for a quiet family get-away. Its wooden interior is reflective of the traditional wood cabin experience with a beautiful stone brick fireplace in the heart of the house. The vaulted ceilings give the main living area a roomy and grandiose feel that entices people to settle into the leather sofa to enjoy a movie on the 51-inch flat screen TV. Floor to ceiling windows allows natural light into the room and provides lovely views which can also be enjoyed on the cabin’s covered porch.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and an abundance of counter space for meal prep. Dinner can be served around the rustic log-style dining table for six. Or if you prefer a simpler meal, enjoy a quick bite at the breakfast bar then take a cup of coffee out onto the deck where you can relax in one of the outdoor rocking chairs.
The cabin features one primary bedroom suite that has a TV and private full-sized bathroom. This bathroom has a shower and a separate jetted bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak before crawling into the king-sized bed. The loft area acts as another full suite with twin-sized bunk beds, another TV, and a full bathroom. This space is perfect for children to spread out and have their own space! The sleeper sofa in the main living area brings the total number the cabin comfortably sleeps to six.
The covered deck is the place to be at this cabin. The wonderful scenery can be enjoyed from the rocking chairs or by the gas grill as the Grill Masters cooks up the main course for dinner. But, by far the best way to enjoy the deck’s view is from the spacious hot tub.
What better way is there to relax after a day of exploring the nearby towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge? If you enjoy game nights inside, try your hand at the dart board or air-hockey table in the dining room area.
Irish Blessing is near both Pigeon Forge and downtown Gatlinburg, and no matter which you decide to explore, travel time will be about 20 minutes. This gives the opportunity to go to Pigeon Forge one day and Gatlinburg the next!
In Gatlinburg, there are plenty of attractions including a mountain coaster ride that speeds you down the mountain side, several escape room attractions to choose from, and amazing views from the Gatlinburg Space Needle. It is also a quick drive to numerous shops and local eateries in Gatlinburg from the cabin for the nights you don’t feel like cooking!
If you head toward Pigeon Forge, don’t miss out on the popular Parrot Mountain and Gardens attraction, the Titanic Museum, and the Dollywood theme park! While the nearby towns hold lots of fun attractions, don’t forget to take time to hike the trails at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park!
