Bear's Den is the perfect cozy cottage for a small group. It sleeps up to six comfortably, and the mountain setting ensures you'll have a relaxing vacation! Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a charming living room, complete with a fireplace and TV. The vaulted ceilings and several windows lead to a warm and inviting atmosphere. This is the perfect place to unwind and have fun after a day full of hiking, skiing, or shopping.

Nearby is the dining area, right off of the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked, so if you'd prefer a home-cooked meal rather than eating out, you'll have everything you need to whip it up. The dining table seats six for meals or fun. The rental comes equipped with a shelf full of board games, so gather around a game of Scrabble or Monopoly with the family!

There are two bedrooms in Bear's Den: one on the main level and one in the ultra-private loft. No matter which you choose, you are sure to drift off at ease because both feature a cozy king-sized bed. They also both have a full bathroom. The suite in the loft features a private jetted tub, perfect for soaking in after a long day. And if you still have more guests needing a place to sleep, there is a pullout couch in the living room.

Unique Features

Bear's Den has a hot tub on the porch for all to enjoy, but the lucky guests in the loft suite get to soak in their own private jetted tub as well. This serene little nook is the perfect place to soothe your muscles after a long day of adventure. You can enjoy the mountain views from the window while luxuriating in hot water, or put on some music and relax.

Things To Do

Bear's Den is located in a convenient spot just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee. In the heart of this mountain town, you can enjoy golfing, hiking, ziplining, gaming, and more. If you like marine life, check out Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. This aquarium features all kinds of aquatic life, from fish to penguins. It's an excellent destination for the whole family. However, if you prefer outdoor activities, make sure to visit the world-famous Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Here you can hike or bicycle the trails while trying to glimpse the local wildlife.

Just a short distance away is Pigeon Forge, known locally for the amusement park Dollywood. Dollywood is fun for the whole group! In addition to traditional amusement park rides and coasters, this park has live shows, music, dining experiences, and shopping. And if you visit in the summer, you can check out the water park Splash Country as well!

Reviews

This is a wonderful place to stay. The log cabin is nicely appointed with up-to-date appliances and furniture. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms are fully stocked. The entire residence was spotless. A very nice fireplace for heat and atmosphere. The HUGE whirlpool type bathtub easily handles 2 adults or 3 or 4 grand kids. We didn't bring them with us but if we returned they would love it. There is also a great Hot Tub on the porch that we opted not to use as it was in the low 30's while we were in residence. Located in a quiet area convenient to all the attractions and downtown. A very quiet and very comfortable visit. The only thing missing was a "welcoming bottle of champagne — but no problem as we brought our own for our anniversary celebration.Thank you, it was wonderful.
