If you are traveling with another couple, an adjacent cabin (Kear’s Mountain Slender) is available to rent. This is perfect if two couples want to explore Gatlinburg as a group but also allows each couple to come back to their own cabins for privacy and space!
The Village is a European style collection of 27 stores featuring eateries, boutiques, and galleries to explore in Gatlinburg. The old-world atmosphere is fun and romantic, and a site to see in itself.
The Village is located near the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Plan to spend time and explore the national park’s miles of trails by foot, or swing by Smokey Mountain Riding Stables to explore the mountains the best way possible — on horseback! No prior riding experience needed! Smoky Mountain Riding Stables is located inside the national park so no need to go far to find them. Allow the friendly horses to carry you and your partner up the mountain side trails.
If horseback riding isn’t in the cards, you can still make it up the mountainside by a sky lift. Gatlinburg SkyLift Park in downtown Gatlinburg will take you up the mountain and provide beautiful views, day or night!
