This peaceful place just a short drive from Gatlinburg is the perfect vacation home to experience a getaway with your family or friend group. Painted in greens and grays, the vacation home itself radiates peace and tranquility. Through the resort, visitors have access to a hot tub that they can use to relax tired joints after a long day of hiking and seeing the beautiful sights of Tennessee. There is also air conditioning, WiFi, and cable TV, so there will be no need for you to feel as though you can’t get out of the elements, no matter where your sightseeing takes you.
Visitors have access to a kitchen that hopefully has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. You won’t have to worry about having the tools needed for whatever you choose to do in it, whether you want to cook a five course meal for the evening or simply brew a cup of coffee to get you situated for the day. Best of all, the dishwasher ensures that you won’t have to worry about doing the cleanup by hand! The space also includes a living area with a TV.
The vacation home sleeps a total of six people, with two bedrooms with king-sized beds and two full baths.
One great aspect of this vacation home is its roomy and luxurious set of bedrooms. One bedroom contains a jacuzzi, cable TV, ceiling fan, and recliner, allowing for the perfect space for you to get away from the rest of the house in your own little miniature paradise, if need be. The other bedroom also contains a flat screen TV and ceiling fan.
Gatlinburg is a beautiful place, and there is so much to do in and around the area! If you are interested in hiking at all, you of course should check out the famous Smoky Mountains, where you will be able to encounter stunning views at all levels of hiking ability, ranging from short, kid-friendly trails to strenuous day hikes. Experience the picturesque beauty of the Smokies, no matter who you are!
If you choose to head into town. Gatlinburg also offers many opportunities for family fun. Visit Ripley’s Penguin Playhouse, where you can view Blackfooted penguins living their best lives from many up-close angles. Or, experience the world from another angle and test your courage (if you are afraid of heights) through Gatlinburg Ziplines. Other attractions include Smoky Mountain Outdoors Whitewater Rafting and Hillbilly Golf. Finally, visitors could also head to the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair. Open in the summer and fall, it is worth the visit to see and potentially buy some of the beautiful handmade items.
In addition to all of this, Gatlinburg of course has a host of eateries and places to get coffee or drinks during your stay. It will be difficult for you to be disappointed by this wonderful tourist hub!

This condo was EVERYTHING we were looking for, and the location is perfect. I’ve been coming to Pigeon Forge since I was a child and we have stayed in so many different places. We had never stayed at Bear Crossing, but I promise we will in the future. Before we arrived for check-in the front desk had called to make sure we would be there before they closed to make sure other arrangements didn’t need to be made, which was so nice! When we arrived the front desk staff was so nice! Quick check in! As soon as we made our way to the room it smelled like it had just been cleaned which is a big MUST on my list. It’s the first thing I look at. Everything looked so nice and clean and you can tell work has been put into this condo. And I want the owners to know it paid off! We loved it! There were only 5 of us but definitely room for more as there was a pull out couch. Location is right behind Walgreens on the parkway. The little river runs behind the condo which you have access to, fishing is allowed from the property. From the balcony looking to the other side of the river is the Leconte center. A sidewalk runs right beside it, and it makes its way all the way down to the Island. If you prefer not to drive. The Walgreens in front of the condo also has a built-in mini Kroger where we got everything we needed (grocery wise) without having to drive anywhere. The only thing I can recommend to make this place better is a bigger pool. Granted the pool was covered while we were there during spring break, but it seems very small, and maybe an indoor pool. I didn’t see one, but could have missed it. I’m aware some places can’t do this, but those would be my only recommendations. We will definitely come back here! Thank you for our stay! Bethany M
