Sleeping Arrangement at Southern Sweet T: Designed to comfortably sleep up to ten people. Each of its 2 glamorously decorated master bedrooms offer a cloud-soft pillow-top king size bed, a 32” flat-screen TV, a CD/DVD player, and most pampering of all, a jetted tub.
Game room with a bed for two, bunk beds as well as the sofa which converts into a queen-size bed. This room also includes a 52” flat-screen HDTV with surround sound, a Blu-ray player and a separate CD/DVD player. All rooms have central air conditioning.
Southern Sweet T is filled with numerous incredible entertainment features. Located in the loft, the game room features a pool table, an antique oak game table and plenty of board games to play on it. It can sleep up to 4 people as well. This cabin features free WiFi, free long-distance calls throughout the continental U.S., a new washer and dryer and cable TV.
Most excitingly, because Southern Sweet T is located on a cul-de-sac within Alpine Mountain Village, you can enjoy the resort’s numerous amenities as well. In summer these include two outdoor swimming pools; year-round, little ones will enjoy the play area, and everyone can walk among the hiking trails that meander by a spring-fed brook before picnicking on the large covered pavilion.
Open and spacious, the kitchen is filled with stainless-steel appliances, cookware, sparkling countertops as well as plenty of tableware and cooking tools. Whether you’re hosting a Thanksgiving feast or simply reheating leftovers from the previous night’s restaurant meal (and there are ample amounts of restaurants nearby), you’ll find just about everything you need. In addition there’s a charcoal grill outside, so that you can cook as well as dine in the open air.
Next we have the dining room where eight people can sit in complete comfort around the table, and 2 more can sidle up to the breakfast bar a few feet away. Also, there is a table for 8 on the wraparound deck, if you prefer to eat meals outdoors while enjoying the extravagant wooded setting and crisp mountain breeze!
Southern Sweet T’s superb location just might be the best alluring attraction of all. The cabin is less than a mile from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, home to the Titanic Museum, the Tanger outlet mall, dinner theaters, shops, and more.
It’s also less than fifteen minutes from Dollywood and Parrot Mountain and Gardens. Just a few miles farther are the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the attractions of downtown Gatlinburg, which include an aquarium and the Guinness World Records Adventure.

We loved this cabin! It was in good repair and very clean and comfortable. We have stayed at many different cabins in the area, but this one is our favorite so far. The only thing we would change to make this our go to cabin would have been mountain views, but that is just preference. The resort area was clean, quiet and easy to negotiate. It was close to all of the activities on the parkway without feeling that way. The bed was comfortable and the cabin had everything you could possibly need. We spent time every evening relaxing in the hot tub and playing arcade games. We had a small issue with the lock, but it was resolved quickly. We will definitely use Jackson Mountain Homes for all of our future trips to the area which is typically twice a year.
Lovely property at a great price! Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are great. The kids loved the loft with the gaming area. The only, very minor, complaint we had was how poorly lit the stairs to the front deck are. We had to use flashlights to safely maneuver the stairs at night.
We stayed with 6 people (2 kids) and slept comfortably. Very clean, maintained and beautiful cabin with a great feel. Kids loved the game room with video games and pool table to keep them busy. Location feels remote but only 5 min to Parkway and 15 min or less to Dollywood.
