Cabin 3 at Copper Hill is a traditional log-built home for two with a covered veranda between the trees. This wilderness getaway sits on eight acres of forested land near the Ocoee River, offering guests peace, quiet and privacy, as well as a variety of local attractions and opportunities to explore.
This rustic log cabin is equipped with a small kitchenette that includes a fridge, sink, coffee maker and microwave. Guests are also provided with dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. All linens and towels are available on site at this cozy one-bedroom one-bath, along with other creature comforts such as air conditioning, satellite TV and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The cabin is fully furnished, with a gas fireplace and a café-style dining table for two. The interior is fully finished in natural wood with minimal décor, allowing you to clear your mind of clutter and focus on the lovely calming view out the windows. The setting is relaxing and romantic, the ideal home base for summer adventures or a beautiful, warm place to plan on being snowed in.
Sleeping arrangements: Cabin 3 has a single private bedroom furnished with a queen-sized bed — just enough for two.
The star of the show at Cabin 3 is the luxury outdoor hangout on the front porch. Just outside the cabin door, guests can enjoy the view from picturesque rocking chairs or take a soak — rain, snow or shine — in the jetted two-person hot tub.
The Cabins at Copper Hill are located near dozens of exciting outdoor adventure attractions and other family fun activities. Some local favorites include whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River or tubing on the calmer Toccoa or Hiawassee Rivers, mountain biking at the Ocoee Adventure Center, or enjoying a scenic aerial zipline tour at Ocoee River Basin Canopy Tours — just ten miles from Cabin 3.
If regional history interests you, you may enjoy local learning activities such as a ride at the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway — a scenic path through the area’s copper mining heritage with a two-hour lunch and shopping break at Copperhill and McCaysville. There is also the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, which cuts through the lovely Hiwassee Gorge and travels the Historic Bald Mountain Loop.
Couples might enjoy a beautiful daytrip on horseback from Blanche Manor, with trails looking out over the Ocoee River to Big Frog Mountain. More trails are available at Cohutta Stables near Blue Ridge. Spend an afternoon exploring the region’s lauded wineries and breweries — a few favorites include the Serenberry Vineyard, which offers tastings and a history of the area, or the Copperhill Brewery.
Families can also enjoy tours on horseback, as Blanche Manor offers tandem saddles for young riders. Or, you can spend an afternoon picking apples and munching on quality baked goods at Mercier Orchards, then pile into the car for a feature film under the stars at the Swan drive-in theater.

Charming place! I stayed at the cabin 3 just after the Copes purchased the property and they were wonderful hosts and made me feel welcome from the start. Incredible customer service! The cabin was clean, comfortable and I felt safe being there by myself. The Copes took time to show me around the property and told me I was welcome to use their fishing equipment to fish at the charming pond on the property. I have to say that I mostly enjoyed the evening sitting around the fire pit and the fun conversation. It was a relaxing and fun weekend. They are in the process of upgrading the cabins and amenities as the new owners so I will definitely go back, especially for the price, relaxing and fun experience. And…it’s really close to Blue Ridge, GA. — Denise, 2018
The little cabin was perfect and is nicer than anything we’ve ever stayed in, including some really nice motels we’ve stayed in. Its like a tiny version of our home, so I guess that’s why we loved it so much. We hope to visit again soon. — Greg & Lisa, 2018
The cabins at copper hill are wonderful. The owners were great. I will be back as soon as possible. We absolutely loved it! — Patrick, 2018
