The Copper Miner Tent is one of three luxury glamping tents settled among the secluded, wooded hills at The Cabins at Copperhill. This unique canvas structure features hardwood flooring with an open-air deck wrapping around two sides of the tent.

This luxury tent in rural Tennessee is outfitted for two to stay in comfort, with a queen-sized bed and furnished indoor and outdoor living spaces. You’ll have your own sofa, a small kitchenette and a two-person dining area, as well as deck seating.

Outside, The Miner Tent enjoys a private lot with tall trees all around. Our guests at the glamping tents share access to two large fire rings for cooking out-of-doors. Modern bathroom facilities are attached to the nearby lodge, with walk-in showers and heated changing spaces.

These upscale tents are fully equipped with heating, electricity and air-conditioning, in addition to bed linens, dinnerware, and a coffee maker. “Rough it” in style at The Miner Tent!

Unique Features

Guests staying at The Miner Tent have full access to the Lodge building, where you can find a pool table and other games, a cozy lounge area, a gas grill, and a large-screen TV with surround sound.

Things To Do

The very best thing to do at The Miner Tent is relax and enjoy the natural Tennessee landscape, either from the privacy of your tent (you’ll love the sound of the rain on the roof) or from your private deck. Our eight-acre resort grounds include a pond where you can fish or enjoy the view.

We also provide on-site amenities such as the game room at the Lodge, horseshoe pits and volleyball courts, and of course the outdoor campfire rings.

Other fun activities nearby include hiking in the Cherokee National Forest, browsing the local antique and craft shops, riding the scenic railroads, or attending a live music festival.

If adventure activities are more your speed, you’ll be close to boating and swimming at Parksville Lake, whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River, jet-skiing on Lake Blue Ridge, exploring the area on horseback or seeing it from above with a zipline tour.
