The Prospector Tent is one of three luxury glamping tents located between the trees on private resort grounds at The Cabins at Copperhill. This two-person glamping getaway in the rolling hills of eastern Tennessee features permanent wood construction with a heavy canvas cover.
The polished hardwood floors and comfortable furniture at The Prospector Tent set the scene for cozy relaxation, complete with remote forest views and an open-air deck. Your tent comes complete with a queen-sized bed, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a large sofa.
This tent also includes a small kitchenette, with provided dinnerware, flatware, glasses, mugs and a coffee maker. Other modern amenities include electricity, heating and air-conditioning. Tent guests share two large bonfire rings, and heated bath houses at the nearby Lodge.
You’ll also have access to a game room at the Lodge, which is outfitted with a large-screen TV with surround sound, a lounge area, a pool table and other games, and a gas grill.
Accommodations at the glamping tents can be combined with the Lodge and our other small cabin rentals to house groups of up to 37 guests at a time. This makes The Cabins at Copperhill a great place to host weddings, reunions and corporate retreats. While our cabins are settled on a remote, eight-acre stretch in the Tennessee woodlands, the resort is close to a wide array of local attractions and entertainments in Ocoee and other neighboring towns. Some of our favorite activities that get you outside to enjoy the scenery and seasons include whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River, historic train rides on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, and mountain biking or horseback riding along the region’s lovely trails. We recommend exploring your options at Blanch Manor, Cohutta Stables, and the Ocoee Adventure Center. We also have zipline tours nearby, a local apple orchard, and an old-fashioned drive-in theater — perfect for family-friendly entertainment on a warm summer or fall evening.
