  • On a forest setting w/mountain view!

Welcome to a cabin that is unlike any other. This quirky cottage is bursting with character and charm, from the unique structure to the double decks and rustic wooden walls, making it the perfect setting for a getaway.

With two full floors and a loft, there is plenty of space for everyone to stretch out. When you arrive, park your car in the garage and enter the ground floor where you’ll find a full size billiards table and flat screen, which is perfect for a rainy afternoon. Then follow the spiral staircase- or use the larger out steps- to head onto the main floor. This level will be the main hub of activity for the weekend, whether you’re fixing a quick lunch in the kitchen or stretching out on the plush couches after a long day of exploring.

Actually, an even better way to relax is heading out to the wraparound deck for a hot tub soak. If you’re lucky enough to be the first to arrive, claim the master bedroom in the open loft! You’ll be treated to views of lush green forests every morning, thanks to the floor to ceiling glass windows just outside your bedroom door. There’s also a deck on this level so you can sip your coffee away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house.

Sleeping arrangements: The lucky souls who claim the loft bedroom will enjoy a king size bed, a private bathroom, and a deck. In the main floor suite, guests will also enjoy a queen size bed as well as a private bathroom.

Unique Features

As a visitor of Chalet Village, you and your guests get to enjoy some extra perks! There are 3 clubhouses at the village and all are free to use! The large, spacious facilities make it easy to relax with the whole group while giving everyone opportunity to do their activity of choice!

Young children can stay entertained at the kiddie pools while the older ones can enjoy the other pools as well as other activities. Spend the whole day there smacking the tennis ball around or playing less intensive games such as foosball or checkers. Check out the concessions when you get snacky, or feel free to bring your own snacks to munch poolside. If you have a bigger group, each clubhouse has a larger gathering area that guests are able to rent for additional cost.

Things To Do

If those beautiful green forests and rolling hills you gaze at from the deck have you itching to go hiking, you’re in luck! Your log cabin is minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountain National park, one of the most beautiful parks in the U.S. There are endless trails to enjoy by foot, horse, or snowshoe, and some of them even lead to waterfalls and historic buildings! Pack some snacks and spend the day out in the rustic wilderness of the forest.

When your ready to explore the nearby city of Gatlinburg, you’ll have plenty to fill your day with! Start the day with both adventure and nature at Anakeesta where you can walk the tree canopy along suspended bridges or take in the sights via the zipline or chondola ride. If you have kids along, they can enjoy all activities mentioned, as well as the playground and gem mining station. Anakeesta can easily fill a whole day but there’s plenty else to see!

Checkout Tennessee Homemade wines and sample some of the best local wines in the area. Ole Smoky Distillery is also worth a stop if liquors are more you speed. Those who are feeling crafty can try their hand at Fowler’s clayworks, or simply purchase one of the handmade pieces. When you finally feel hungry, Delauder’s Smoky Mountain BBQ serves up fantastic barbeque and good ole southern comfort food, or stop in to Parton’s Deli for sandwiches that can’t be beat. After you’ve had your fill, head to Maypops for ice cream or check out some of the local talents at the galleries, such as Wood Whittlers, which features all hand carved wooden pieces.

This rental home is the perfect rustic getaway that gives you the quiet and relaxation you need while placing you close to endless sights and attractions to explore. Gatlinburg is waiting, are you ready?!

Reviews

Scott From Mount Pleasant. This group is fantastic. We arrived as evacuees from Hurricane Florence and I needed internet to be able to work remotely. When we got there around 4:00 and found out the router was not working, they came right over and replaced it, no questions asked. That is what I call customer service. Besides that, the cabin is awesome. Everything was clean and we had all that we needed to relax and escape the weather. I will definitely be back for a relaxing vacation.
Mary From Athens. Wonderful place, furnished well, enjoyed stay very much. I would caution older guests to be aware there are multiple stairs in this cabin.
Laura From Louisville. Wonderful- 2 grandchildren- 2 dog- chalet was wonderful and very clean. We have leased from others in the area and have declared this was the best bar none
Robert From Cincinnati. Excellent customer service. The chalet was very nice and clean.
David From Schererville. Wonderfully secluded. It was a great feeling waking up and having breakfast on the upper balcony while the sun came up over the mountains.
Edward From Shelby Township. Great accommodation, great location and a great experience.
Bernadine From Kansas City. Loved the house and our first visit to smoky mountains.

James From Normal. The cabin was very clean and well kept. I was happy with the location and the view. The hot tub was also clean but was a little small and missing some things. Also, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything happening around the house. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay here and would be happy to come back!

David From Atlanta. Great cabin with excellent amenities. Great management staff and clean, well-appointed place. Lovely location really close to Ober and downtown Gatlinburg. Overall we had an excellent time and the cabin was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.
