Our Mountain Dream Chalet has two levels of decks where you can relax and experience breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains. Slow down and coast in the rockers, patio furniture, swing, or take a nice long soak in the hot tub. You can listen to the birdsongs in the trees, and you may just see a bear.
The main level great room has a wooden beamed cathedral ceiling with a stone-faced gas fireplace, a 42” flat screen TV with DVD player, a Bose stereo system, and high-speed Internet access. Black leather couches invite you to rest and enjoy watching a fire or a movie. A king suite with bath is also located on the main level. If you visit during the Christmas holidays, the chalet is all decorated for your seasonal celebrations.
The second level of this 3-bedroom/3-bath Gatlinburg mountain cabin has a suite with a king bed, and the third bedroom suite has a queen bed. There is also a large game room on this level with couches, a pool table, game table, wet bar, and a 42” flat screen TV/DVD player. Everyone will enjoy game night here. All the bedrooms, game room, and living room have direct access out onto the decks where you can certainly feel Mt. LeConte’s powerful presence.
The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, silverware, glasses, dishes, and cooking utensils. The eat-in kitchen dining room table seats 6, or take a few steps further out onto the deck and eat outside on the patio deck dining table that also seats six. There is a gas grill next to the outdoor dining area where you can easily serve up your home cooked meals. A washer/dryer is in the laundry room of the lower level.
Sleeping arrangements: Bedroom 1 (main floor suite) - king bed; Bedroom 2 (lower suite) - king bed; Bedroom 3 (lower suite) - queen bed.
This beautiful Smoky Mountain Dream chalet has two levels of expansive decks with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and forest. All three bedrooms have doors out onto the decks where there is patio furniture, a swing, and a hot tub. Comfortable seating areas on the two levels provide plenty of room to spread out for privacy or gathering together. Each bedroom has its own satellite TV.
The lower level game room has a pool table, game table for board game or cards, a wet bar, and couches to watch you favorite sports or movie on the 42” flat screen TV/DVD player. Plus you have all the views of the mountains and an easy walkout to the lower deck with comfortable patio furniture. You won’t feel inside when you are in this game room. The chalet rental comes with a pass to Chalet Village’s three clubhouses with exercise rooms, pools, and tennis courts when you want more active recreation.
You are only three miles away from the Great Smoky National Park entrance where you can find abundant hiking options. The 8-mile, round-trip Ramsey Cascade trail is a hikers dream with a 2,200 ft. elevation climb which means great views! The trail winds through some of the largest tracts of old-growth forest of white oaks, red maples, black cherries, basswoods, birches, and hemlocks. The Ramsey Cascades waterfall is the tallest one in the park, dropping 100 ft. in sections into a small pool. After this hike, rated strenuous, you’ll find soaking in the hot tub on the chalet’s deck absolutely delightful.
Looking for laughter and nightlife? Take a short trip into Gatlinburg and see one of the musical comedies produced at the Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre. The theatre specializes in “silly” humor, so if you are a fan of the Carol Burnett Show or Britain’s Monty Python, you’ll certainly find yourself laughing here.

My family was so pleased to stay at this beautiful home. The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable with attractive furniture and beautifully decorated rooms. The porch view was excellent and it is in a very quiet location. The home had attractive and comfortable furniture, beds and amenities. Great WiFi, TV, pool table, for entertainment. The kitchen was excellent and great for our needs. My girls used the Jacuzzi, we played pool, was able to do laundry and just relaxed around a terrific home when we weren't hiking or touring. It really was a home-away-from-home. My girls didn't want to leave!! - David
The rental property was clean and as described. The location was near the park entrance (3 miles-a definite plus for us!) and stoplight 10 if you enjoy the Gatlinburg strip. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed excellent views out the back of the house and the outside decks. We also received an early morning visit from a bear! This is the second time I have stayed at this particular rental and will stay again if it meets my needs. Chalet Village has always been professional and courteous.
