Gorgeous mountain view lodging for large groups! Don’t just look, get out there and explore the Smoky Mountain terrain. It’s time to plan ahead and set out to explore the world together again. Beartastic Lodge has motorcycle-friendly parking, a hot tub, multiple sitting areas with tables, a bear-themed bench and rocking chairs on deck.
In addition to a perfectly stocked kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, and stone flooring, there is a downstairs kitchenette so your large group won’t have to be shoulder to shoulder in one kitchen. A second living space upstairs has 2 sofas, arm chairs, big screen TV, and pub tables. “Mountain View” is in this lodge’s name for a reason - the bright windows framing the mountains is something to behold.
Sleeping arrangement: 3 master bedrooms with private bathrooms (call dibs on the one with a jetted tub). One master has a king bed and the other 2 master bedrooms have a queen bed. 2 more bedrooms have queen beds. 6th bedroom has a twin-over-queen bunk. Plus 2 queen sleepers. Each bedroom has a flatscreen TV.
The lodge decor fits its elevated setting - look for rustic details and soak in the mountain motif. The extra amenities are icing on the cake: big screen TV and Blu-ray player, gas fireplace, board games, indoor jetted tub, and outdoor hot tub, gas grill, glass doors on each level leading to the deck.
Wait until you see the new 6-foot electric fireplace in the great hall. If you and your sweetheart need some alone time, cozy up on the small balcony - perfect for a romantic meal or morning snuggle-time.
Spring through Fall:
Enjoy the Chalet Village Resort tennis court and (3) outdoor pools. If rain passes through, head to the resort game room to see whose ping pong champ. Or just stay at the lodge and shoot some pool, play arcade games & air hockey, or pop in a DVD or Blu-ray for movie night.
You don’t have to travel far to reach the mountain trailheads! Breathe fresh mountain air - head out early though, there’s 150 trails and 800 miles of Smoky Mountain terrain to cover. Hop on a zipline, play mini-golf, or swing away at a Gatlinburg Golf Course. Come one come all to the award-winning Independence Day festivities. And don’t overlook the Smoky Mountains during Autumn - the mountains get painted with bright colors and Downtown Gatlinburg hosts the Harvest Festival.
Winter:
Since we are close to the slopes, plan on a day at Ober Gatlinburg – Tennessee’s #1 skiing, snowboarding, ice Skating, and snow tubing destination. Getting there is half the fun! Board the aerial tram in downtown Gatlinburg and ride to the mountaintop. Ask us about Music Night at the slopes. A beautiful view of the mountains no matter which level we were relaxing in. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, including dinnerware for toddlers and babies (big bonus points for that).
The cabin is so amazing. The cabin is spacious, beautiful and just very home feeling. I also loved how easy it is to park there. Several cabins don’t have very good parking. Nope we were able to park 4 cars easily with no issue. The hot tub was so fun to hang out with friends and just have a good get away weekend. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. During the trip my fiancé also proposed right there on the balcony. Not only was I in such an amazing place but somewhere with an incredible view!! Loved every minute of my stay

We just spent a glorious extended weekend in this cabin. The cabin is amazing! Very comfortable, nicely furnished, especially the bear decorations, and has breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains. Highly recommend this cabin if you are looking to visit Gatlinburg
Wonderful views, spotlessly clean with lots of amenities and plenty of space for large groups. Our group of 10 enjoyed our stay immensely! You are truly at the top of the mountain and the views are spectacular. You'll be treated to a sunrise over the Smokies - be sure to take your coffee to one of the decks and enjoy nature at it's finest. Would definitely stay here again
