Focal point is a large stone fireplace in the living room that opens onto the deck which overhangs the creek. The camp chef will love the fully equipped kitchen that is surrounded by windows and French doors: Modern microwave, coffee maker, toaster, stove and refrigerator with ice maker. 1700 Square feet.
Lots of interior rustic accents; walls and ceilings are painted tongue-and-groove pine and the ceilings are exposed beam cathedral. The exterior is gray cedar. Have more than 7 people in your posse? Ask us about renting the Ayuwasi House on our retreat grounds. This is a great quilting retreat! Bring your machines, tools of the trade, fabric, and friends.
Sleeping arrangement: Master bedroom sleeps two in a queen sized bed with a bay window overlooking the creek (enjoy the sounds of the creek). Second large bedroom (Pine Room) has has four beds and can sleep five. The sofa turns into a very comfortable queen size bed.
Retreat is surrounded by the beautiful Cherokee National Forest. The creek is just a few feet away from The Creek House. In fact, the deck is over the water! Second bedroom has french doors that open onto this deck and has a wood burning stove. This cabin has a library alcove too.
