The African Safari is a charming cabin rental with the Smoky Mountains National Park less than a half-hour away. Luxuries of this property include the outdoor hot tub, access to an indoor heated pool year-round, and pool table. When you enter the cabin, you will notice the floor-to-ceiling windows and large stone-faced fireplace. Relax on the recliners or leather sofa and watch a movie on the 32” TV (cable and DVD player). When you’re not exploring the Smokies or hitting local hotspots, you’ll find a variety of activities to enjoy at the cabin rental itself. The great room has a pool table and an electronic dartboard. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to create homemade meals. Cookware, tableware, and appliances are all included.
Sleeping arrangements: The African Safari master suite is the perfect intimate retreat. It includes a king-size bed, a TV, fireplace, and a private bathroom with a jetted tub. The bedroom also opens up to the deck where you can enjoy the silvery moonlight. For additional sleep space, there is a sofa sleeper.
The large covered desk features classic rocking chairs where you can relax in timeless Smoky Mountain fashion. The deck also has a 4-person hot tub which can feel especially rejuvenating after a long day of hiking in the Smokies or skiing at Ober. Grill out on the charcoal grill and sit either at the dining table on the deck or indoor dining table. There is a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor amenities at the African Safari. Another advantage of staying at a Jackson Mountain Home is that guests get access to the indoor heated pool open all year.
Sevierville is close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The African Safari is less than 10 minutes away from Dollywood and Parrot Mountain and Gardens. The Cal Ripken Experience, Blake Jones Racing Center, Titanic Museum, and Gatlinburg Golf Course are all within 15 minutes of the cabin. Check out the local dinner shows such as the Hatfield & McCoy, Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Show, or the Impossibilities-Magic, Mindreading, and Mayhem Show. Voted Best Aquarium in the United States, the Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies has everything from sharks and giant sea turtles to penguins.
Outdoor adventures are endless when you stay close to the Smokies. Fishing, hiking, ATV rides, canoeing, horseback riding, zip lining are just to name a few! Experience hiking, tours, fishing, and picnicking in America’s most visited national park. There are nearly 800 miles of maintained trails that weave through the mountains. For the thrill-seekers the Smokies has helicopter tours, whitewater rafting, and ziplining.

Beautiful place great for 2 ppl who need to just get away.
Perfect cabin - we took our kids to Dollywood and actually did not realize that this cabin is directly down the road from the entrance. It's on the backside of the main entrance area, so you beat the traffic entering and leaving Dollywood - perfect location for our trip!
Had a great time cabin was very nice and clean. The hot tub wasn’t very hot but still pleasant the tv in the bed room didn’t change separately from the living room. But other than than it was a great stay we will come back!!!
Very nice cabin, comfortable, spacious, good location. Excellently situated to explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Only glitch was on arrival when the access code provided did not work, - but a quick call to the customer service line fixed that in less than 5 minutes - well done. Andrew Slaughter
The cabin was just as shown on the website. Very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely go back there. The hot tub outside needs the jets worked on. Other than that all was great. Richard South
