This isn’t just your ordinary Smoky Mountain cabin, Gentle Ben’s Den is a hidden gem with unique features. Each of the three stories has a deck overlooking the woodlands. There is even a screened-in porch with your own private hot tub.

The living area is spacious and ideal for watching a movie on the 50” HDTV - with premium cable and Blu-ray player. Or enjoy a beverage in the golden glow of the fireplace. Seat up to ten guests at the wood dining table. For outdoor dining, the deck has a bistro table and gas grill...There’s nothing like barbecuing in the fresh open air. For added convenience, the cabin’s kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, tableware, and a whole gamut of appliances. Restaurants are only a few minutes away too!

Sleeping arrangements: The primary suite on the main floor features a king-size bed and flat-screen TV. Right off the primary suite is a private bathroom with a Jucuzzi and shower. The other three bedrooms also have a king-size bed and flat-screen TV. The futon opens up to sleep two guests, as does the great room’s sofas. Bring up to twelve guests.

Unique Features

Most of the wood furnishings throughout the cabin were crafted by local artisans which adds to its charm. There are two game rooms for ample entertainment. Shoot pool by the fireplace, play cards at the pub-style table, challenge yourself at the multi-game arcade, or watch TV. The second game room in the loft has air hockey and foosball tables. Since Gentle Ben’s Den is part of Gatlinburg's Mountain Shadow Resort, guests get access to the resort’s outdoor pool and lounge area in the summer. The resort playground is open year-round. Perhaps the most unique feature of this Gatlinburg cabin is the location - only ten minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Things To Do

Reviews

Hot tub wasn’t heating the water, I gave them a call and an hour later it was fixed. Great service and the house was clean.
We had three generations of family stay for a week over Thanksgiving. The accommodations were great, clean and comfortable with enough equipment in the kitchen to permit us to cook and serve a complete Thanksgiving feast. We’ve stayed in Gattlinburg six times for our mini-family reunions, this was the fourth time we’ve used Jackson Mountian Homes. As always, your service and attention to detail exceeds that of your competitors.
We had a great time. Cabin was clean. Customer service was great and we would absolutely stay there again!
The downfall was the layout of the cabin. The bedrooms are all over each other and was was paper thin. You could hear every step that was made. So we NEVER got to sleep in, which is what we love to do while on vacation. We did see a bear cross the road right by our cabin. It was so exciting.
