Having a Blast is a large-capacity vacation rental located on a private lot looking out over Cove Mountain near Sevierville, TN. This three-story log cabin offers accommodations for up to 20 overnight guests, with a full kitchen, a game room, and a home theater, and an outdoor hot tub.
The main floor at Having a Blast is a stunning, wheelchair-accessible space with vaulted ceilings, huge windows, and a cozy fireplace surrounded by plush sofas. Enjoy rainy (or snowy) days in with movies on the large flat-screen TV, and make use of our extensive library of books and games. The main floor also includes a spacious dining area with a long family-style table and a breakfast bar. This home has a fully equipped modern kitchen and an outdoor grill and picnic tables on the main-level deck to the back of the house.
On the lower level, guests will find a game room complete with a pool table, a poker/card table, a lounge, a satellite radio, and a sixty-game arcade console. The lower-level home theater has tiered sofa seating and a 3D-capable, 73-inch HDTV with surround sound. You’ll have full access to our Blu-ray player, a library of DVDs, and a Netflix account. There’s even a wet bar for prepping drinks and movie snacks.
Having a Blast offers the height of luxury in sleeping accommodations, with five master suites — each furnished with a king-sized bed, a stone fireplace, a flat-screen TV, and a private bath with a jetted tub. One of two main-floor suites is wheelchair-friendly, with grip bars in the bathroom. This mountain lodge also has three queen-sized sofa beds and a sleeping loft with a set of queen-sized bunk beds.
The upper loft at Having a Blast is equipped with an air-hockey table. It also opens up onto the rear balcony — the cabin’s best perch for stargazing. The cabin’s lower deck has a hot tub, and all three levels have a great view of the cabin’s private, mountain setting.
Aside from its many indoor and onsite amenities, Having a Blast offers easy access to hundreds of attractions in and around Sevierville, TN. This cabin is close to dining and shopping in downtown Sevierville, as well as being just a short drive from hiking trails and local wineries.
In less than a 20-minute drive, your group can find itself at the gates of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can explore the trails, picnic near fields of wildflowers, and hike past picturesque waterfalls. You’re also only 25 minutes from live music, dinner shows, and thrill rides at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN.
Other favorite entertainments in the area include the Titanic Museum, WonderWorks, the Ripley’s Aquarium, the Mountain Coaster, and the Ober Gatlinburg ski resort.

The property was great! The only tricky thing was driving a church bus up the hill. If you are cooking, bring even the basics. We had to scramble for salt, pepper, and sugar. As far as the cabin goes, the amenities were excellent. We were a small church group and the kids and adults had a great time. We needed a few more towels, called, and they delivered them right away. Truly enjoyed our stay and will choose it again if we have around 20.
The views were awesome and loved the three decks. House was a great size for four families.
Wonderful views and great location. Hot tub, pool table, movie room, and arcade game kept all the boys occupied for six days and nights. I would go back again.
It was one of the most beautiful cabins that I've stayed in and loved the location.
