Things To Do

Downtown Gatlinburg has a mix of restaurants, distilleries, outdoor attractions, indoor attractions, and an 8 mile Smoky Mountains Arts & Crafts trail. Observe 12-foot sharks, sea turtles, and many other exotic creatures at Ripley’s Aquarium - Voted Best Aquarium in North American by USA Today in Gatlinburg, TN. There is even a glass bottom boat in the Shark Lagoon. Sample the Ole Smoky Moonshine, Tennessee’s first legal moonshine distillery.

Ride the Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway from downtown Gatlinburg to Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area and Amusement Park. Winter guests must check out Ober Gatlinburg for skiing, snowboarding, snow tub, and ice skating adventures in the Smokies. Speaking of adventures, the Smokies have unique zip-lining and whitewater rafting opportunities. If you are traveling over a holiday, there are local festivals such as Winterfest, Great Smoky Thanksgiving Arts & Crafts Show, Festival of Trees, and the New Years Eve Ball Drop.

The Great Smoky Mountains have endless amounts of hiking, sightseeing, biking, fly-fishing, and driving overlooks. There are over 800 miles of maintained hiking trails and nearly 120 species of birds in the park. The fall foliage is super vibrant and breath-taking. The waterfalls, stunning views, and wildlife are the reason the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited National Park in the U.S.

Reviews

Overall cute but needs a bit of updating
Great views! Nice accommodations. Maintenance prompt. Needed a plunger for upstairs toilet. It does not work well, as mentioned in previous reviews. TV in one bedroom not connected to cable, unusable.
