This 18-person cabin is settled between the trees in the rolling, mountainous landscape of eastern Tennessee, with traditional log construction, high ceilings and double balconies on the cliffs-facing side.
The home provides all of the usual living spaces — a dining room, great room and full kitchen — all beautifully finished and simply decorated to create an atmosphere of belonging and relaxation. The great room is furnished with two plush sofas, a large flat-screen TV and entertainment center, and a stone fireplace. The main dining room table can expand to seat up to 10 guests and a second table can seat six, with additional seating at the free-standing breakfast bar. The kitchen is open and accessible with lots of counterspace and stainless-steel appliances. Skylights and a full wall of double-height windows fill the entire living space with natural light.
On the lower level, this cabin is equipped to entertain a large party, with a home theater room featuring ten cinema-style seats with additional stools, and a game room that offers pool, arcade games, and a Golden Tee golf simulator. With its uncrowded social space and extra amenities, Simple Elegance is the ideal home to host a special even getaway, such as a wedding party, reunion or retreat.
Sleeping arrangements: Simple elegance is equipped to handle up to 18 overnight guests easily with six private bedrooms. Five of these bedrooms are furnished with a king-sized bed, and the final bedroom with a set of queen-sized bunkbeds. Each bedroom is also equipped with a flat-screen TV and cable access. In addition to the private bedrooms, sleeping accommodations can be found in the shared spaces through the use of a futon, a sleeper sofa, and a single-occupant sofa chair. One of the king bedrooms on the main floor offers the additional luxuries of a jetted tub and direct balcony access.
Simple Elegance belongs to the Hidden Springs Resort, giving guests access to community amenities such as a beautiful indoor swimming pool that is open year-round. The pool house is constructed almost entirely of transparent materials, with a bright sun deck both inside and around the facility.
If guests would prefer to stay on the cabin’s private property, there is still a perfect place to sunbathe — the outdoor hot tub is located on one of the walk-out decks, along with several rocking chairs, a grill and a picnic table.
Simple Elegance is located just over a mile from the famous Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge. Guests can venture inside the Knoxville-Smoky Mountains metroplex during the spring, summer and fall to enjoy thrill rides, craft shops and live music.
Shows and events are scheduled throughout the year and include appearances from Dolly Parton herself and other celebrated artists. Visitors can also cool off in the neighboring Dollywood’s Splash Country waterpark or settle in for some pampering and relaxation at the Dollywood’s DreamMore Spa. Within ten minutes from Simple Elegance, guests can find themselves on the main Parkway of Pigeon Forge, which is home to countless restaurants and excellent shopping, as well as other attractions — such as the Titanic Museum, go-karting and mini golf, dinner theaters and more.

The cabin was very nice and clean with lots of space. The only down side is that the bathrooms are mostly connected to the room and not inside each bedroom and the directions were a little confusing. Very close to restaurants and shopping, etc. Overall, we enjoyed it. Reviewed March 2018
