Smoky View Chalet is a delightful cabin snuggled up in the woods, conveniently close to all the local attractions. As soon as you step outside you’ll gain its immaculate view of the woodland scenery all while taking it in from the large picnic table. Relish breathing in the fresh mountain air and tuning in to singing choirs of warblers during the day.

As a classic assembly of cabins, Smoky View Chalet’s main living area is an airy, open space, with many windows to let in the sunshine accompanied by crisp mountain breezes. With a fully-equipped kitchen and an open-view floor plan, your vacation in this special cabin is sure to be incredible.

Sleeping Arrangements at Smoky View Chalet: Sleeps up to six people comfortably. Both bedrooms are upstairs on the main floor and each includes a flat-screen TV as well as plenty of storage. The primary bedroom has a king size bed, en-suit bathroom, flat-screen TV and a large heart-shaped jetted tub. Smoky View Chalet’s washer and dryer are in the half-bath, while in the hall the full bathroom includes a combination shower/tub. We provide all the clean towels to ensure a smooth and easy homey feel.

Unique Features

The sizable game room completes the downstairs space in Smoky View Chalet. The children can play foosball while the grownups shoot pool—or vice versa—and everyone can get real comfortable on one of the luxurious sofas to watch a movie on the large flat-screen TV with a cable and a DVD player available.

After a day of hiking or skiing, rest in a solo soak to message your tired muscles or invite your special someone in for a romantic and peaceful end to the day.
Whether you’re snuggled up on the couch to watch TV or surfing the web in the rocking chair, you’re never far from the wood-burning fireplace.

And did I mention the dining table that seats six, or the kitchen that is fully equipped with everything from a full-size refrigerator/freezer and oven/stove to a coffee maker and a toaster, along with cookware and tableware. There’s even a dishwasher because no one wants to waste precious vacation time scrubbing dishes.

Things To Do

Any time of year, the cabin’s location provides suitable/easy access to a plethora of other things to do. Such as, just down the road is the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, an 8-mile trail of more than 120 studios, galleries and shops featuring everything from wood carvings to watercolors, chainsaw art to jewelry.

Even better, less than fifteen minutes away are the wildlife, wildflowers, and waterfalls of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Just as conveniently close is Downtown Gatlinburg where you’ll find the Guinness World Records Adventure, arcades, thrill rides, an aquarium, mini golf, restaurants, distilleries, and more.

From downtown, you can ride the tram up to Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area, home to ice-skating and a wildlife exhibit year-round as well as skiing and snowboarding in winter.

Reviews

Thanks for a great facility for our 3 generation family vacation. Members traveled from South Carolina, Cincinnati & Dayton Ohio to enjoy the tourist attractions of the Gatlinburg area. The cabin and the pool table were a big hit!
Travelled here in August on a last minute trip and loved the cabin. Will definitely be looking at staying here again on our next mountain trip. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
Husband and I spent the weekend here as a 13 1/2 yr honeymoon and it was really nice and we plan on coming back to this specific cabin with the kids. Love the seclusion but also close to Gatlinburg.
