The main floor at Standing Bear Lodge features a warm wood interior with large windows on all sides letting in the quiet view and tons of natural light. The great room includes a cozy sitting area gathered around a fireplace in a stone hearth. This upscale Tennessee Cabin also has a family dining area with setting or eight and a full modern kitchen with a four-stool breakfast bar.
Standing Bear Lodge has five private bedrooms: three on the top floor, and one each on the main and lower levels. The master suite on the top floor is furnished with a king-sized bed and has its own fireplace. The remaining upper level guest rooms have a set of queen-sized bunk beds in each. The main and lower-level guest rooms each have one queen-sized bed.
At Standing Bear Lodge, rainy days are not a problem — this luxury log cabin has wireless internet and a flat-screen TV in every bedroom. There is also a lower-level game room with a pool table, foosball, air hockey and a cinema-style home theater system.
You’ll love the covered balcony located on the main level of Standing Bear Lodge. It provides a peaceful setting for your morning coffee with the wrens and warblers calling nearby, or an excellent end-of-day relaxation spot with the outdoor hot tub. You can also cook out-of-doors, using the provided park-style charcoal grill or the open fire pit down on the lawn.
Standing Bear Lodge is located inside the quiet Hemlock Hills residential area, less than a mile from athletic competitions and events at Rocky Top Sports World and just down the road from the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Loop, with its galleries, shops and studios.
A five mile drive from the property will bring you to downtown Gatlinburg, where you can find endless options for dining, shopping and entertainment, including go-karts and minigolf, museums, a wonderful aquarium, live theater and musical shows.
The cabin is also centrally located to some of the state’s best lakes and hiking trails. Explore Great Smoky Mountains national park on foot, or sign up for a tour on bikes or horseback. You can also hop on the nearby tram that delivers you directly to the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area.

Great Holiday stay. Very spacious. Had 8 adults and 6 children. Downstairs playroom was perfect for the children.
The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. Had everything we needed, so all we had to buy was food. Plenty of entertainment options in the cabin for both adults and children. I wish we could have stayed several more days!! The only odd thing is that the map feature in the app makes it look like it's located inside the Smoky Mountains, but in reality it's a couple of minutes north of gatlinburg. But the location is actually perfect! Easy access to grocery stores, small artisan shops, Gatlinburg, and most importantly quick access to the smokies!
