The Dawg Pound by Norris Lake Cabin Rentals is a modern three-bedroom vacation home located right on the waterfront. At 1,800 square feet, this Tennessee family lake house can accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably. Best of all, it’s pet friendly!
This all-American getaway on Norris Lake is tucked away in a quiet cove off the main channel just a short boat ride from the Beach Island Marina. The property includes the use of our private, covered dock, an onsite boat launch and plenty of boat and trailer parking.
Inside, The Dawg Pound is ready to host your most relaxing family vacation yet. The main floor has a master suite with a queen-sized bed and connecting full bath. Shared living spaces include a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy sitting room with a Smart TV.
Two additional guest rooms on the walk-out lower level are furnished with two queen-sized beds in one and one queen-sized bed and a set of twin-sized bunk beds in the other. Each of these has its own full bath. There is also a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the family room.
The Dawg Pound waterfront cottage in Sharps Chapel, TN, has some fun outdoor amenities such as a screened-in three-season porch on the lake-facing side, a barbecue grill, a private outdoor fire pit, and complimentary wood pile. Don’t forget your marshmallow sticks!
Please note: the private dock can be moved periodically due to changing water levels, and steps to the shore are not accessible during winter months. Ask for updates during booking!
This beautiful Tennessee vacation cabin is located in an outdoor adventure hub, close to hiking and biking trails, excellent fishing, swimming and boating, and even open space for four-wheeling. Norris Lake is a large, all-sports recreation lake perfect for pontoons, waterskiing, jet skis and paddle boats alike. You’ll have unlimited access to your own boat launch and dock, as well as being just a few minutes down the road from a public marina with gear, bait, fuel, shopping and dining.
When you’re not enjoying the lake and the fresh air, you can venture out on any number of scenic backroad drives, or head into the nearest towns to explore the local businesses. The Dawg Pound is also just 20 minutes away from Chuck Swan, where you’ll find more options for hiking and ATVs, as well as public hunting land.
