Secret Hideaway is a classic log cabin parked cliffside in the mountainous countryside on the outskirts of Gatlinburg, TN. This private, one-bedroom home is ideal for a honeymoon, anniversary trip or couple’s getaway, with a secluded ambiance, a great view and easy access to restaurants and attractions in both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

The home is serene and luxurious, and open year-round, with lush greenery in the summer, vibrant falling leaves in autumn and gentle snows in winter. This cabin exists on a single story, with a cavernous great room that incorporates a cozy sitting room (with a fireplace, a huge wall-mounted flat screen and leather recliners), a dining room set for four, a game room with a pool table and a full kitchen. All of these spaces are lit with natural light from tall windows and feature vaulted ceilings with open beams. This mountain rental is comfortably decorated in a country-chic style with natural hardwood floors and custom log furniture.

Sleeping arrangements: This private cabin’s single designated sleeping space is furnished with a king-sized log-constriction bed. It also offers a 42-inch, flat-screen HDTV and a jacuzzi tub. Additional overnight guests can be accommodated on the queen-sized pull-out sofa bed in the living area.

Secret Hideaway offers a unique mountain view through the trees, made even more enjoyable by the wide, open-air deck available to guests on the side of the cabin, along with outdoor lounge chairs and a hot tub. Secret Hideaway is conveniently located near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, offering guests easy access to hundreds of shops, restaurants and attractions in both thriving entertainment hubs. The countryside in the mountainous region between and around these two bustling tourist towns is varied and exciting to explore, with hiking trails, hidden waterfalls, lakes and rivers and even underground tunnels and caverns.

Visitors to the area should be sure to budget time to see the untouched natural beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with its trout streams, pristine freshwater lake and fields of wildflowers. Visitors can tour and taste the wares at famous Tennessee distilleries or ride horses through beautiful mountain vineyards.

There are also a number of attractions built right into the landscape, such as the mountain coaster at Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park, an aerial tramway, zorbing courses, ziplines and whitewater rafting. Other must-sees include the Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World of Records Museum, and the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, with more than 70 artist studios, galleries and shops on an eight-mile loop.
