Beautiful hardwood floors; a well-stocked kitchen with cookware and dishes (if it is not here just ask for it); ironing board and iron; Office area with fast WiFI; dining for 6. You’ll experience a modern vibe while being surrounded by nostalgic furnishings and old timbers. Central heat & air assure the perfect seasonal temperatures.
Sleeping arrangement: Comfortable sleeping! Bedroom 1 has 1 queen. Bedroom 2 has 1 double. Bedroom 3 has 2 twin/single.
Cabin time here is so much better then a motel room. At our Red House you have a kitchen and the choice to dine in or out. Gather around the fire pit towards dark and watch the real Nashville stars shine.
Our unique location close to Nashville opens the door to short drives to festivals, fairs, and music playing on every corner. There’s more LIVE music here than anywhere on earth. The Grand Ole Opry is just 20 miles from the Farm.
Guests at the Red House can enjoy wooded hiking (several trails), hunting, fishing in our Catfish Pond, and grilling out. That’s just the beginning: Scenic golfing, Wineries, and antique shopping are nearby. In fact, our Red House is decorated with antiques.
Since you book directly with us (Billy and Beth Wilkinson), we’d be happy to share our local knowledge so you don’t miss anything during your stay. Kids will love the malts and shakes at Thomas Drugs (on the National Register of Historic Places). All ages will enjoy the Mammoth Cave National Park (celebrating 200 years) in south central Kentucky. $158 per night, two people. $10 per each extra person. Christmas, Thanksgiving and CMA are all 4 night minimums. We are willing to negotiate longer stays.
Not refundable if cancelled less then 30 days of proposed arrival. Add Tennessee State Sales Tax and county lodging tax. There will be a $45 cleaning fee for 2 night bookings. $45 pet fee (1, possibly 2 dogs. Must be at least 2 years old, 25 lbs or less, have their own bedding and cannot be left alone at any time unless in a carrier).
We do require a deposit, and the final payment may be made by check (30 days before arrival); cash or money order (on arrival); Visa, Discover and Mastercard (10-5 days before arrival). Housekeeper is optional. Please, no loud partying, drinking - disturbing the peace and tranquility of the farm disturbs other renters.
