Apple Bear Lodge has everything your family needs for the Smoky Mountains vacation of a lifetime! This charming, yet super spacious, retreat located just outside of Gatlinburg offers everything you and your family could possibly want, and much more.
You won’t know what to do first. Standing in front of the living room’s beautiful stone fireplace, you’ll think it’s not possible to feel so at peace. But after you step foot onto one of this luxury rental’s two covered rear decks and get your first real good look at the mountains, you might reconsider. Checking out the gorgeous and totally modern kitchen, even meal prep just got a much-needed dose of calm, and you can serve up your creations on a huge dining table — or in casual style, at the cabin’s breakfast bar.
Of course, you’ll want a comfy bed when it’s time to turn in, and that’s where Apple Bear Lodge really shines. This massive vacation getaway can sleep up to 18 guests across four bedrooms, three of which boast King-sized beds (the final one has both a bunk and a sleeper sofa — great for the kids!). No matter your family’s size, you’re home.
Of course, Apple Bear Lodge has a stunning outdoor hot tub, and you’ll want to indulge in a soak at least once or twice during your stay. But don’t sleep in the game room, which is incredibly well-stocked, with a full size billiard table, foosball table, air hockey table, card table, and massive flat-screen TV.
If all that fun has you feeling a bit parched, you’ll find a wet bar right there — no need to halt the fun and traipse all the way back to the kitchen!
What about outside the lodge? If you can convince yourself to leave at all, Apple Bear Lodge is only a short drive from downtown Gatlinburg. We definitely recommend that travelers with kids take a day to explore all of the Ripley’s options in the area; there’s even Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, which always impresses. And you won’t want to miss out on the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which — at only 15 minutes away — you could consider your new backyard for the duration of your stay.
If your group are foodies, Gatlinburg’s a great bet, and you won’t want to leave without checking out downtown. From high end dining to the best casual BBQ you’ve ever had, there’s something for everyone. Cap it all off with a tour of any one of the area’s famous distilleries and you’ve got a vacation memory you’ll revisit over and over again.
