Bear Slide is a wonderful airy log cabin complete with all the features you will need for your mountain getaway. It features four bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, a kitchen stocked with dishes and appliances, and two living areas. This cabin is perfect for a large group vacation, as it sleeps up to 10 guests. You can enjoy stellar views of the Smokies from the floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as on the covered deck. There is also a wonderful grilling area with a picnic table and even a swimming pool.
The living area on the main level is equipped with a 60-inch TV, a BluRay player, and Netflix. Each bedroom has its own flat-screen TV as well. The lodge has complimentary Wi-Fi throughout so that you can connect your own devices. Downstairs is the second living area, which has a 46-inch television with BluRay and Netflix and a minibar, stereo system, pool table, and computer.
Each bedroom has private access to the deck, in case you'd like to sneak out and watch the sunrise without disturbing the rest of your party. All bedrooms feature a king bed and a private bathroom. There are two split bedrooms on each floor of the cabin. There is also a sleeper sofa that sleeps two.
This spacious vacation home has an array of features, such as a game room and computer access. The cabin comes with complimentary Wi-Fi, so you do not have to worry about being disconnected during your vacation. There is a pool table in the game room and a stereo sound system, minibar, and mini-fridge.
The kitchen is fully stocked, and the dining table seats 8, with an additional bar area that seats five. You are sure to have a great meal at the end of the day here!
Bear Slide is located in Gatlinburg, TN. Gatlinburg has a wide variety of attractions for people of all ages and personalities. You can visit the world-famous Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and marvel at the marine life under the large glass tunnel. Ripley's has a number of other attractions in the area, including Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Ripley's Mini Golf, and Ripley's Super Fun Park.
If adventure is more your style, try going ziplining or coaster riding at Anakeesta. Anakeesta is an adventure park in Gatlinburg that offers rides, splash pads, and more. This theme park is not only for thrill-seekers, as it also has relaxing gardens and play areas for younger guests.
If you want to venture further, you can visit the famous amusement park Dollywood. Dollywood is located in Pigeon Forge and is approximately 20-30 minutes from Gatlinburg. Dollywood has a wider variety of coasters than Anakeesta and live events, shopping, and dining options.

We had 4 couples, and it was so nice to all have king sized beds with individual bathrooms. It was clean, beds were very comfortable and enjoyed having a washer and dryer to launder clothes, towels, etc. Each bathroom had 2 washcloths, 2 bath towels, 2 hands and a bath mat. It would be nice to have at least double that per bathroom. Next time, I will bring extra from home for convenience. The view was good and the cabin felt private, but is in a cabin community. We didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors much due to heavy rains, but that made us appreciate the cabin that much more. We had all meals with friends at the cabin, adequate pans and supplies. The grill is a charcoal grill. It would be nice for this to be a gas grill. The location is very convenient to grocery stores, the craft community and downtown Gatlinburg. We are already checking schedules and making plans to book the Bearslide again. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful place with us!!
The chalet was wonderful and so spacious. Enjoyed spending family time there and will definitely try to return there for a visit.
This beautiful cabin was perfect for our family. It was a much needed getaway. We would love to stay here again. Great location & great view.
Couch in the den needs to be replaced and we had a problem with TVs. Needs more baking pans. Other than this we had a very good time.
We had a wonderful time at Bear Slide. The bedrooms were very big and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was wonderful and in room Jacuzzis are very nice. It has most everything we needed. We had a very nice time and it was soundproof for the granddaughters to get a nap. If I could change something it would be to have a gas grill not a charcoal grill. I would also suggest some kind of drinking water system. Those are minor issues though. My one-year-old granddaughter loved all the Bears. We would definitely stay again.
